Low price; great games performance.

Severe lack of ergonomic options; bad lower viewing angle; shallow black level.

The 19-inch Samsung SyncMaster 953BW performs well and has a low price; however, its competitors one-up it on both counts.

Its an awesome Monitor for the price, I upgraded from a 15 CRT.

Fantastic display for the money

This is my 4th Samsung LCD monitor. For price, features AND reliability you can't beat Samsung.

Colors are vibrant, blacks are nice and deep no dead pixels at all. Game play is great as is watching movies (no blurring at all)

The Best $239 I've ever spent !

I had read reviews on this product at a couple of sites. This site being one of them. I bought it from a very well trusted online site. It offered a $20 rebate from Samsung. I did receive the rebate. But, it took Samsung 8 weeks to process the rebate...

Picture quality, 2ms (gray to gray), ease of set up & use, and price for a flat panel monitor, easy to keep clean, and a good solid weight for a flat panel LCD monitor

No height adjustment, buttons are hard to reach due to design

Although the blacklight is not so good, but the brand name sansung may give am asuurance that this product last longgertime to use.

"no DVI with 2008 MacBook"

I tried for a month and more to make this monitor work with my late 2008 MacBook. First, no DVI cable came with the monitor. Then Apple's mini-DVI converter wouldn't work with the 2008 MacBook -- it has a DVI miniport, which is a different connection....

"Very nice display for the price"

Overall an excellent display with just a couple of minor annoyances. Extremely happy with the quality of the picture. Has a range of adjustments, both manual and automatic so you can set to how you think looks bets. Only 2 negs and they are minor....

Bright sharp display with excellent contrast

Tilt mechanism very stiff, flashing power light annoying
