Samsung Quality still going strong

 

Next time ill make sure to go for ASUS since they offer better warranty then Samsung.

Purchased Samsung B2430H and B2430HD from our AAFES 3 years ago. Build quality is excellent and 1080 offers clear and sharp image quality. My B2430H has developed a dead pixel on bottom right after 3 years of normal use.

- 1 Year Warranty only - Stand Quality is very poor

Wouldnt buy again

 

I would never buy this again. I have many monitors and have never had this many problems with any of them except this one

Looked good not super expensive

Stand is flimsy and at a wierd angle, you can not adjust it. After 2 years it took multiple attempts to keep the screen on. At the beginning of the third year I got 4 different colored lines running through my screen. Few weeks after it died completely.

Power Failures

 

Hoping Samsung steps up and replaces my monitor as it is less than 6 months old. We'll see.

Looks nice and vibrant. Basically plug and play without adjustments. It is discontinued, which is a plus

Buttons are hard to see. The power button fails to start every time. Takes between 5 and 20 tries to get the monitor to stay on. Researched and this is a common problem with this monitor

Great Screen

 

Great image quality on a beautiful 24 inch screen. Full 1080 resolution. Sleek design. Touch control functions beneath the screen, that's a nice touch.

SAMSUNG B2430HD

 

Some have complained about the speakers. They don't sound bad...but, they need to be cranked up to 75% to be heard. There is an EQ...which helps to create the perfect sound for each room. I have used the unit with/as computer, a tv and dvd...so...

Great picture. Very clean looks. Completely clear picture even from across the room ; Plenty of connections. Plenty of options to set up the unit to your needs

It takes a while to get used to all the options on the remote and in the 'set up' area of the menu. But, once its set to your liking...it looks outstanding
