Samsung P2250 LCD Monitor

Samsung is a big name in LCD displays, be it for swanky HDTVs or the more functional and personal PC monitors. Today we have a 22 incher by Samsung called the Samsung P2250, so let's see what's in store.

The monitor cost is slightly high, at s. 11,500. Comparatively, 22 incher TN panels come for around 10K, plus this does not have HDMI or any other candy, thus we feel it's a tad pricey. The Blacks are weak, but color accuracy is good. Sharpness and...

Samsung SyncMaster P2250 LCD monitor

Samsung has brought the style of its previous LCD television range to its latest LCD monitors. Though lacking the LED backlighting technology seen in ...

Attractive design, good colours, crisp text, excellent sharpness

Glossy finish attracts fingerprint, struggles to distinguish blacks, no HDMI input

The Samsung SyncMaster P2250 LCD monitor looks great and performs reasonably well, though it’s a little pricey when factoring in the lack of an HDMI input.

Samsung SyncMaster P2250 review

Part of the "Lavender" series of monitors, the Samsung SyncMaster P2250 LCD monitor uses Samsung's "Crystal Design" - an ultra-slim bezel with a piano black finish and a hint of red on its edges. The glossy finish attracts fingerprints and reflects the...

Samsung P2250 LCD Monitor

Get the first hand scoop of stylish and seductive Lavender series

Snazzy looks, good color reproduction, touch sensitive buttons, solid build, easy to setup

A bit pricey, no HDMI, color gamut is not wide enough

Great while it lasted

I really loved this thing while it lasted.

Picture quality was fine (to me anyway), overall "look" was classy (very glossy - some could dislike this, but I found it was fine)

The reflection off of the glossy inside of the monitor could be distracting ; Oh, and the monitor shuts itself off randomly for up to 10 minutes at a time, with no discernible reason for doing so. It started doing this about a year and a month after I...

It also has a wobbly stand that can topple easily. Other than this, it is a beautifully designed product...but deceiving. its glamor is only skin deep.

Looked nice while it lasted

I have had many problems with this monitor. Weird linear color tracing shows up on windows 7 startup...the same abnormality shows up on the windows mediaplayer splash screen. Brightness and contrast adjustments on screen were all erratic. I sent this...

very nice

would be 5 stars if I had better experiences with the customer service

This is a really nice monitor. I have not had any issues with dead pixels or anything like that

My only concern is that Samsung does not like to stand behind their products and some of their reps are rude! I bought 2 items from them and both of them were not listed on their website so I could warranty it online. I called within the 30 days...

SAMSUNG P2250 Rose Black 21.5" 2ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 50000:1(1000:1)

This monitor does not have an HDMI input. Had to get an HDMI to DVI cable so I could use HDMI out on my Sapphire Radeon 5850. Don't hesitate to buy this if you are looking for a monitor that won't break the bank, but will give you a great display from...

Meh

Personally, I don't like the touch sensitive controls. I run an alarm clock on my computer to wake me up for work each morning and leaving the monitor off to save power makes it more difficult to turn the monitor on so I can click off the alarm. All...

It works, it's bright, it's clear, no dead pixels, and has DVI and VGA ports. The response time is fast, it powers up quick (if you can make the power button work in the dark and all), and my keyboard rests nicely on the monitor's base when I'm not...

Stand seems a bit flimsy to me, but maybe that's because my house is falling apart and the floors are weak and even a toddler jumping two rooms over makes this thing shake like crazy
