Samsung SyncMaster S23A750D

Nope. I'm still not sold on 3D. The added costs of glasses, the perceived darkening of the screen and the need to wear said glasses (possibly in addition to my own spectacles) while I'm supposed to be doing something fun like watching a movie or...

Movies look incredible on the Samsung SyncMaster S23A750D and its games performance is excellent. The monitor includes lots of useful OSD options

There's no DVI port, ergo options are limited, and the OSD array feels cramped. The connections that are included are embedded a bit too deeply into the chassis, and 3D performance does nothing to sell me on the tech

The Samsung SyncMaster S23A750D is a bit expensive and the 3D is disappointing, but its excellent performance in (non-3D) games and movies make it worth the asking price.

"Best color quality I've seen in a TN panel"

This is the best 120Hz TN panel with excellent color quality. Much better than ASUS or BENQ.

120Hz

No height adjustment but this is almost a non-issue

Mixed feelings

This is my follow-up review. After 2 months of back and forth Samsung took the monitor for repair and fixed it. This is the second device, so I guess it's fair to submit a new review. As others mentioned 3D is great. But it doesn't work out of the box....

1. Great looks ; 2. Great picture ; 3. 3D is awesome (when it works, see other thoughts) ; 4. Works in 3D with Playstation 3 seamlessly

Good enough

120hz for this price is good enough, the 3d is a bonus. Make sure you use display port if you want the 120hz
