Dead pixel after 2 weeks.

Newegg issued RMA refund instead of RMA replacement as this was out of stock. No e-mail was sent to me about the item being out of stock, and they just went to refund without trying to contact me to see if I wanted something else. Kinda disappointed.

Looks amazing. High contrast. Very nice colors. Stylish

Weird stand, doesn't allow you to pivot it up or down, but the menu has glare adjustments for various *extreme *angles you might view it at. No loss of egg for that though ; Seems like you would break the monitor in half just pushing in a VGA cable......

Excellent Monitor

Touch buttons are awesome. I like this idea. I'll be getting another to match this. Was nice to get rid of one of my Acer 22" and go to a 24" with 1080p resolution. HDMI didn't matter to me. At the $199 I paid this was a steal. Hopefully Newegg...

I bought this at another store, starts with a W. It was $199 there, and on Newegg its $250. Anyways, the LED backlighting is great, picture is sharp and crisp, colors are great. The "Magic" settings I have disabled, and I tuned it to my liking

No DVI cable, seriously Samsung? Though most people on Newegg probably have many spares ; In it's default settings, it's WAY TOO BRIGHT! I had to calibrate it

New Monitor

The power connector is similar to laptop connectors in that it has an AC/DC converter on it. I don't mind this, but it is just another block of electronic material sitting on your desk or hanging off the back of the monitor. I'm sure it saved weight...

I also own a 24" Samsung LCD w/o backlight. I bought the LED backlight 24" monitor for my brother for his b-day. This monitor is half the thickness and far lighter than the standard LCD. I can easily hold it out at arms length, which makes it very easy...

The fact that it is only tilt means you'll have to prop up the monitor from one side or the other if your desk or house/apt is slanted. But, since its so light, this wasn't a big issue =)
