Previewing DV clips and other digital source material on your computer monitor is fine if your video project will only be seen on another computer. But if your project will ever be viewed on a TV, many editors find using both VGA (computer) and NTSC...

ATSC monitors, while not as numerous as either NTSC or VGA style monitors, are perfect for digital editing and graphics composition. While "standards" are still being defined, to get the job done you can expect a native resolution of 1280 x 1024. ATSC...

What Matters: Inexpensive CRT and LCD models are suitable for general use, but many full-featured models are worth the extra cost

Shadow-mask displays employ a metal sheet perforated with small holes to focus an electron beam that illuminates phosphors on the inside of the tube. These monitors usually have a slightly curved face, though some flat-screen models are available....

Great display with crisp picture and no problems

Size and picture quality are exactly what I wanted in this monitor. It handles common inputs, including HDMI and has been able to grow as my video card technology has beeen upgraded from VGA, to DVI to HDMI, with no hickups and a great picture all the...

Quality of the display is very good. I have had it for over two years now and have had no issues and plenty of great viewing experiences

It is a little slower than I would like to switch between inputs (HDMI, DVI, VGA, etc.) but it is not a huge deal

Great TV at a low price. Good size. Great at 1080P

For the cheap price, you get a TV that has more features than similar TVs of the same size, most of which are only 720P and cost more. The picture quality is superb. The sound isnt the best because of the speaker being in the back. But other than that...

1080P with 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Colors are vibrant. 2 HDMI. Illuminated power button that is touch sensitive. TV tuner. Simple easy to use menus and remote. Component input. Is a monitor

Poor sound (I use Sony wireless headphones anyway). NO COMPOSITE INPUT! Had to buy an RF modulator to convert the composite input into coaxial. The screen appears darker if looked at from below. 16:10 ratio (meaning there are bars on 16:9 pictures

Provides a very basic 1080p monitor in a low-priced (<$350) package, easy set-up with existing DirecTV

Picture either leaves black-banding at top and bottom, or stretch mode will cut-off sides. There's no refinements on adjustments. Sound quality is awful
