Samsung SyncMaster XL20

The forward march of technology leaves in it's wake all categories of electronics. The latest category to be affected is display technology. Today we're looking at a new what Samsung is doing with LEDs in it's new LCD panels.

Bright display with good black levels, Excellent colour reproduction with 114% NTCS colour gamut, Supports AdobeRGB, and is fully customizable, All the other bells and whistles you expect from a high end LCD, including a very adjustable stand

The big ticket price, which isn't reduced much on the streets, Calibrator doesn't seem necessary, could be upgraded, Size ; the unit is 9cm (3.54 inches) thick and weighs 7.6 kg (16.75 lbs)

Loved it, until ... Win7 x64

I loved this monitor when i was still using Vista x64 and the HD4870 graphics card. It took a while to have them supported but the 2.0.0 software of the included calibration device finally did. Now on Win7 x64 and HD5870, it simply refuses the monitor...

Its not big and its not necessarily beautiful until you turn it on and look at the colours.
