Crisp 21" with .22dpi for your primary PC sensory input

I have experience with the Sony GDM-F500 and F520 21" monitors. As an amateur photographer I am quite critical about image quality. I scan my slides in for editing in PhotoShop with a Nikon Coolscan LS-2000.

22mm pitch in a 21" with excellent display controls

Expensive and heavy - not to be carried to LAN parties often

What the F500 SHOULD have been...

I agree with everything Kweckstorm wrote; except the "soft" description. "Soft" is a tactile, not a visual descriptor.

22mm dot pitch and focus to match

Very Heavy 75Lbs. ; 10 ; Sony warranty(Sony will only send you a refurbished monitor)you pay shipping

I was an owner of the original GDM-F500. I ordered the original monitor mail-order, which was a big mistake. One thing i've learned about monitors is that they don't ship well. The apes at UPS have an UNCANNY way of whacking a monitor out of alignment....

VERY tight dot pitch, great convergence, great focus, wide array of resolution and refresh rate support

Expensive, some slight geometry flaws, slightly softer picture over the original F500
