Amazing

I showed my mother (she's a photographer) her pictures she's taken, on this screen, and she almost cried because they're exactly how she wanted them to look, where as her laptop screen doesn't show her proper lighting and colors. I would recommend this...

Good coloring, not super bright, night anti glare screen, fast response so there's no ghost type picture when things move on it. Great size. I will be getting a second one for my build eventually

the stand kind og makes it higher up, but that's nothing some screen tilting can't fix imo. Not worth losing an egg over

May need to update your video driver

Newegg Shipping is WONDERFUL.

I have two of these. The first installed with no issues on a newer Win8 computer. Then I installed on a 3yr old Dell Latitude e6320 and immediately got the BSoD. I was connecting via a display-port to HDMI cable ; Both the old and new monitor support...

Again the initial BSOD and the couple hours I had to invest to getting it resolved

Great Monitor / TV

To test this, I first used it as a screen for my laptop (My PC only has display port out). It worked really well as a monitor, just make sure you set it to be PC on the HDMI input rather than TV, otherwise you'll end up with overscan. The real reason...

Cheap ; Built in TV tuner ; Sharp and very responsive due to the 1ms response ; Colors look good for the price ; Not crazy bright like cheaper screens ; Works good both as a TV and a monitor

Still hate the whole SUPER OMEGA AWESOME HIGH DYNAMIC CONTRAST RATIO of OVER 9000 marketing ; First of all, the monitor is defaulted to the mode that doesn't have the crazy dynamic contrast mode enabled (Nor would I enable it either) ; Second of all,...

Vertical banding issues

About the other reviewer mentioning that this TV/monitor doesn't turn off when you turn off the PC, it is annoying but not a big deal. It does eventually turn off on it's own and doesn't take that long for it to do it. I'd say the vertical banding...

Built-in TV tuner, a good amount of inputs including an analog component and composite input, good decent size for a bedroom or office. It's also still recognized as a 2nd monitor on the PC even when you change the input, which is what I wanted

Vertical banding. It's really annoying, and it seems to plague this TV model. I tried two different ones, both the same model, and they both have it, one worse than the other. If it wasn't for this problem I would have given this TV an easy 5 eggs, but...

Decent monitor ruined by OCD

Maybe the OSD issue isn't the best reason to give a monitor 1 star, but it's just so annoying that it makes me hate this monitor for something that would be so easy for Samsung to fix. The only reason I haven't returned and gotten a different one is...

It's decent monitor, has plenty of inputs and does its job. It does white really well, and has a good contrast ratio, but the color just seems off to me. But all and all I'm satisfied with the quality of the picture

I would have given this monitor 3 or 4 stars had it not been for the obnoxious OSD that displays everytime it's turned on or comes out of sleep/hibernate/blank screensaver, etc. This completely ruins the monitors. I have to turn it off everytime I use...

Not for standard definition

I needed this unit for a standard def DirecTv receiver. I tried everything in the settings and could not get a good picture. The picture was inferior to the old standard def flat panel it was to replace. I did not try it on high def but I would expect...

Stand is TOO Tall

The stand on this monitor is 4" high. Way too tall to be useful for anything. Looks bad as a free standing TV, and is too tall on a desk to be used as a monitor. Poor design. Apparently there is no other stand available. Either I have to wall mount it...

Bright display, Lightweight

Too big

off-angle viewing lacking

i was replacing an older Hanspree with this set and found "side" viewing to be far less than anticipated. if you're viewing head-on, the set/monitor would be great, but i returned it because of this issue.

great head-on viewing

not so hot when viewed off-angle

GREAT TV & MONITOR

Really incredible TV & Monitor. Comparing this 60 hz TV to my Samsung PN59D7000 and all my Consumer Reports beliefs about plasma being better than LED/LCD are gone. This little TV has a better picture. I don't even see motion blur watching sports or...

fantastic as tv and computer monitor
