V7 D22W12

The D22W12 ($170 street) from V7 (a house brand for global IT distributor Ingram Micro) is a capable 22-inch widescreen monitor with a price that's easy on your wallet. As with any budget monitor, you'll have to forgo certain features; in this case,...

Affordable. Good color and dark grayscale reproduction. Good motion performance

Weak light grayscale performance. Lacks HDMI port. Tilt-only stand

The V7 D22W12 offers solid color performance and error-free motion handling at an affordable price. However, features are scarce on this 22-inch widescreen monitor.

Average to Good image quality. Not very bright.

If you get one with no dead pixels, then its a good monitor FOR THE PRICE. The image quality isnt too bad...but isn't the greatest either. It would be better if it was brighter with more contrast. I only used it for 3 days before i returned it because...

Great Price. Average to good image quality for the money (not excellent, but definitely a decent image for a monitor of this price). It is one of the cheapest 22" monitors. (You can find it for around $150)

The monitor had 3 dead pixels in the very center of the screen straight out of the box!! It was very noticable the first time i turned it on. Monitor looks cheap...thin cheap stand w/ cheap looking plasitic. Not very bright. Not enough contrast

V7 17" D1711-N6 LCD Monitor with Speaker, Black

The instructions don't explain how to pipe sound through the new monitor's speakers

image quality, compatibility, value for money

Best Choice for the Money

If you are going to use this monitor, be sure that your video card has DVI, I don't recommend using this monitor with VGA, as I've noticed some very annoying 'scan lines', when I switched to DVI, it became very crisp, with no disturbance in the picture.

Very bright, crisp, and clear. Hasn't 'blurred' over time like some other monitors do

The picture has scan lines when using VGA

Have a similar model

The stand was a little flimsy but that didn't bother me too much. Other than it quit working I think it's a great monitor even if it didn't come from a powerhouse brand like LG or Viewsonic.

Beautiful picture

I know things have a limited life, but the input into the monitor quit working after about 2 years

I have had this monitor for nearly a year now and have never had one issue. When I purchased it I got a deal on it from Staples during a sale. I needed something large enough to allow me to work in Premiere for editing video. Some gaming has taken...

Looks great and have never had one issue

None that I have seen in the near year that I have owned this
