So far, so good ....

Didn't come with HDMI-DVI adapter. Hopefully I won't have to take advantage of the warranty.

Reputable supplier ; Great delivery time from Newegg ; No defects like bad pixels noted so far ; Has DVI and RGB inputs for use with older computers ; Only 11 watts power consumption ; Cheaper than NEC 19" 4x3, closest runner

Plastic stand is a little wobbly ; No hard copy manual ; One of very few 19" 4x3 format LCD monitors offered, prefer this format for small desk

The only thing I find annoying with these monitors is what you have to go through to switch between DVI and VGA if you have something on both inputs. You have to go through the menu system

I needed a new monitor in a hurry and got a good enough one cheap. I'm pretty picky about picture quality, so ordinarily I'd preview and buy at a brick and mortar store. Think twice about the built-in speakers if you use your computer as a stereo.

Cheap, big, bright, desired aspect ratio; built-in speakers and thin frame have smaller footprint than previous equipment

Picture is a little grainy, sound is a little tinny

Not worth it

Do yourself a favor: don't get this monitor. Go spend $10-20 more to get something that will last. Asus has a great name for hardware INSIDE the computer, but on the outside, I am extremely disappointed.

Vibrant

Some might be upset that they are square screens. I personally do not like the new 16:9 monitors and so I decided to go with my old standby resolution and I could not be happier, but be aware of the choice you are making.

The best tech purchase I have made in awhile. I bought two of these to do software development. No bad pixels, vibrant displays. Big screens

Big Guy

This is the best monitor that I own. I have an older computer that does not support wide screen monitors. This moniter fits perfectly.The screen is extremely sharp. Resolution is very high. Price is very good. I can't find any cons.
