Touchy about bright and contrast, but good.

Boost button for 3x and 5x. Handles 1280x1024 w/o flicker and easy on the eye.

Wrong bright and contrast can fuzz text. Aperture grill noticeable, but maybe not to most.

This is a monitor that seems to demand the right contrast and brightness settings. Normally, for example when setting Adobe Gamma, one is told to set the monitor's Contrast to 100% and then adjust Brightness down. You try that with this monitor, and ...

ViewSonic 19 inch A91F CRT monitor

nice looking.Average screen visual but not spectacular or crystal clear.

Decent overall, had some trouble with it.

The monitor has a nice, flat screen, takes as much space as my old 17" did, and features an UltraBrite Mode that probably won't be used much by me. The picture quality is pretty good, however, the problem I have with the monitor is that on its sides...

Gaming and Watching DVDs only**

I have had this monitor for 2 days and have tried every setting combination possible. The colors are bright and vibrant and when watching night or dark scenes on dvd the picture is amazing. I am not a gamer, so can't say how it looks for that. ...
