Very nice, I like it!

The flickering is really not that annoying, and I was reluctant to take a star off. It really is a good screen.

Colorful, fast, no dead pixels, and... does it really need to be said again?... BIG

The screen gets pretty hot after a while, but I've never had a screen this big so I don't know if thats normal or not. The reason it got four stars is that when there is a lot of white on the screen, it will flicker randomly, as in not because of the...

Super Big

Big. Did I say Big? It's Big. I easily displaced a dual monitor setup with this single one and could not be happier. Got this from Newegg when it came out and have been very happy with its operation. Looks fantastic when connected via DVI

This monitor is a lot warmer than other LCDs that I have owned. It makes me wonder if that will have an affect over the lifetime of the monitor, but I have not seen any ill results so far

Overall an amazing product for the price, highly recommended!

No dead pixels, got it off "a popular online auction site" for "a little bit cheaper" which translates to INCREDIBLE value for a 1920x1200 native resolution, especially since newegg's price is low as it is! The design is very aesthetically pleasing,...

The default color scheme is a little off, too washed out and green, but with a little adjustment, looks fine. It's a bit thick and my webcam doesn't quite fit on top well

This has been my first viewsonic purchase and it will probibly be my last. We use them at work and they are fine, but the bang for you buck just does not seem to be there. Overall I am disappointed because of the excellent rep that viewsonic has.

Very nice size, built in speakers, monitor is very bright

First time I got this monitor the backlight had a short and would randomly flicker when it was off. round two has been better but makes a high pitched whine when off or in idol mode. On both the screen is too bright for my tast and washed out, blacks...

Q241wb wide screen life changer

This monitor is the brightest monitor I have seen. I am software developer and had three ViewSonic VX924 19inch monitors and swapped one out for the Q241wb to see if I'd like the wide screen. I felt (and still do) that the VX924 is an awesome monitor....

If you are considering a new monitor and have not sat in front of a wide screen, this one will change your life ; This monitor is big, bright, and crisp. Unless you are concerned about colors (pro graphics) or having a USB port on your monitor then go...

The monitor exhibits a very strange phenom. If you stand a foot away from the monitor and look directly down on it, everything has a green tint to it. If you do the same and look from the bottom up everything has a brown/red hue to it. When you look...

24" ViewSonic Q241wb

Abosolutly amazing. This beats the Dell 24" UGXA by miles. Very light, clean cut, stable, 10/10 picture, Make my flightsim X come to life, and super bright. GREAT BUY FOR SURE

My bank account wants to buy two more and I don't have the extra cash :)

Awesom, after a few tries

Not sure what Zaylor was doing, but mine is just barely warm. Also, that flickering was because the refresh rate was set too low, otherwise it doesn't look good. Please at least TRY before you blame the manufacturer.

Very large, and nice to game on (as long as you have an 8800 or better to push the graphics!). I'm very happy with it, and only has 2 dead pixels, which are both where the bottom of the taskbar is, so no problem there. I absolutely love this. Excellent...

Well, the first one that came had a column of stuck pixels, but that was easy enough to send in and get replaced. The second one had a HUGE column of white/green, because it was damaged during shipping (screen cracked). Newegg graciously returned it,...

Great buy!

Spend the extra few dollars and get the DVI cable, i noticed a pretty big improvement over the standard cable that came with it. I certainly recommend this monitor to everyone, its a spectacular value and works like a charm.

Great monitor thus far, upgraded from a 19" CRT and noticed a massive difference. The picture quality is great, and it arrived with no dead pixels, yay

monitor is a bit unbalanced on the stand and tends to wobble slightly if you're not using a stable desk, but not the the point where it annoys me enough to lose a star. Also wish that it came with a DVI cable, had to purchase it seperately. Also the...

ViewSonic Optiquest Series Q241wb Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 800:1 Built-in Speakers

It's a little deeper then some but that's not a problem. Light weight and the stand is solid enough. Heat doesn't seem a problem. It a huge improvement over my old 19" CRT. Nice to have my desk back. I love it.

Large, bright, crisp screen, plenty of real estate. Even at 1920x1200 the fonts are large enough for me to read easily (and my eyesight isn't what it used to be)

I don't care much about PC sound but the speaker really isn't much and I wish there was a volume control dial and headphones port. Ah well

Nice Monitor

I'm an avid user of AutoCAD, so monitor size and quality are very important to me. I have been working on 20" VeiwSonic monitors at work, and decided to get me a Vewsonic monster for home use, and thats exactly what this monitor is "a monster". For the...

Price, and high quality picture

You need to play with the settings a little bit to get it just right, but this only takes a few minuets. Stand is a tad unstable
