P775 Professional Series: Not perfect, but workstation-worthy

Nice colour balance, great warranty service

I looked at many. My eyes are blue, and my vision is poor from welding for years. This thing is very easy on the eyes. For $335 it cannot be beat. The fine tuning is a bit arduous. Keep the brightness down. I run at 1020x768 all day long. I find it to...

CLEAR ,Easy on the eyes

Touchy to fine tune

An awful experience

Warranty replacement model, What's that?!? Well, let me explain... My boss at work purchased this monitor for its high clarity and crispness. However after 3 weeks of use, the screen went dark. I called Viewsonic on his behalf to discover what has...

A quality monitor

We use this monitor at work. It was bought as a replacement for an E series Viewsonic that was really unreliable. We have had it up and running 24 hours a day for months and have had no problems at all with it.

Compact. Nice picture

A bit expensive

Blurriness will hurt your eyes

When I went out looking for new monitor I looked first to Viewsonic. I own their G773 and G790 and the G773 especially is excellent. Nice clear text across the whole screen. The PF775 looked great.

Flat means flat, looks nice, solid refresh rates and good price

Image quality is poor, focus is hard to fix, too many options to be useful

Good quality - a few complaints

I bought this monitor after owning a lowend 15" viewsonic for a little over a year. This time I wanted something that would be excellent for graphics and for web surfing. I also had a new DVDrom and wanted the full experience of seeing movies on a...

Its flatness made me "wow", but the focus is so-so

It's been years I've been hoping for a compromise between my desktop monitor's size and price (currently an ADi MicroScan 5gt, 17", about which you can read my epinion too) and a laptop's active matrix. I've always found the flatness of the laptop's...

Incredibly flat, great colors

Impossible to get a good focus for the whole screen

P775 Has Been Unreliable

When the time came to upgrade to a 17" monitor (Feb, 1998), I picked a Viewsonic partially because I had seen good reviews, and partially because the Viewsonic monitors I had seen on desks and at tradeshows had a great picture.

Good Picture, Handles High Resolutions

Somewhat Unreliable

Viewsonic P775 - a nice high end 17

As high end 17" monitors go, the Viewsonic P775 is a good value. The images, both text and graphics, are excellent. The colors are very vivid, although I haven't done any rigorous color match comparisons. The .25 dot pitch gives sharp definition,...

excellent image, flexible control

clunky on screen controls, no covergence control
