ViewSonic P 95f+ review: ViewSonic P 95f+

ViewSonic P 95f+

High resolutions; above-average color uniformity; solid geometry; advanced controls.

Blurry image quality at top resolutions.

The P95f+ isn't the cheapest 19-inch CRT, but with better performance and more features than competing models, it ultimately proves to be a solid value.

ViewSonic P95F+B 19inch Monitor Review

Introduce a "new" display technology like LCD and suddenly everything which is based on a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) is old, obsolete, and totally uncool.

Strange Reviews Indeed....

The A90 I have is Not my Primary monitor anymore, cause I have two others which are the "X" Series (First Generation) LCD's one being the 20.1 inch and the other the 17" and both those are like almost 4 years old, the 20.1 being 1 year younger. All in...

I'm giving this CRT 5 Eggs simply because I find it strange that for some people it's only lasted a few years. I don't have this model, but do have the Beige A90 Model from Viewsonic and have had it since 2000. Still displays like the first day I...

The size is Huge, and heavy, guess Viewsonic isn't making their CRT's like they use too. Glad I got the A90 when I did

Strange but nice

1280x1024 is where the picture begins to fall apart, it's manageable at that resolution but it does look perfect at 1024x768. Which is way too small for my tastes.

The black levels of the monitor are quite good as are the other colors. Just like you'd expect from a CRT

At higher resolutions the picture becomes fuzzy and unworkable. Strange effect, and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just a defect in the monitor

well looks great for a while then your eyes adjust and you see the curve screen behind the flat not to happy with it running at 1024/768

works great...for a while.

Pretty much like a couple others, this monitor is great for a little more than a year (mine was fine for about 2.5 years), but it would get overheated easily, I'm sure more so due to the fact that it was enclosed inside a computer desk that has a shelf...

19", great picture

its a crt so it is HUGE!, quality degraded over time

ViewSonic E90FB Black 19" CRT Monitor 0.20mm horizontal x 0.13mm vertical; 0.25mm diagonal Dot Pitch D-Sub

I was using a 37" LCD TV as my monitor though VGA for a while but now i switched back to the G90FB. Get a CRT there faster and support higher resolutions than Cheap LCD monitors.

i don't own this monitor but it looks similar but lower res then the G90FB I own which is awesome

you should go and see if you can find a G90FB

Viewsonic quality going down

I do primarily photoediting and still prefer CRT to LCD for the quality of the color and ability to calibrate with Spyder2. Unfortunately almost no aperture grill monitors are made anymore and the better shadow mask monitors also seem to be...

I didnt get this at Newegg but have purchased many things from them and nothing to say but the best about the service

I got one of these to replace an older Viewsonic Pro aperture grill that got fuzzy. This one is just as bad and can only be gotton to its sharpest at 1024 res. The other resolutions are very bad. My older Samsung 997MB and emachines monitors are sharp...

Over 1 year!

The CRT is very good over all, nonetheless it died right after the warranty, ill go for a LCD since you can get a cheap 19' or 22 inch LCD with 2 or 5 ms response time which is perfect for games, for example the Acer or Samsung 22'(widescreen BTW) is...

Very good, awesome picture, no problems for over a year

My green color died just after the warranty, what a shame ; warranty was only 1 year
