Viewsonic VA2323wm 23 Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor

Overall, I like the VA2323wm 23" widescreen LCD monitor very much. The picture quality is excellent and this refurbished model is in such great condition that it could pass for new. The 23" screen was an upgrade from my precious 20" monitor, and while...

» Decent saving versus brand new at $199.99 from the "big box" guys, » Came with a DVI cable, » Arrived in brand new condition

» Built-in speakers have poor audio quality, » Menu buttons don't blend into the chassis

awesome monitor

Great monitor and I'm planing of picking another one of these. The one I have now was a gift from my uncle and I was very judge mental since I never heard of the brand before but is the best monitor I've ever had

Monitor has been working for years and it hasn't died on me. I can play hd games and even used at a tv once. It has speakers

The speakers are horrible, they sound do washed out but that's why I have a speaker set. When video on screen gets to fats say in a high action scene in a movie, a square would appear in the inside of the screen And then I will fade away. Some people...

Average HD monitor

It is frustrating to see all these stats that marketers push on you... refresh rate, lag time, 1080p, etc... but then I am looking at the monitor that has all these decent stats and it is just average... how do you really choose a good monitor from the...

1080p, reliable, works well

Not impressive for the features. I had this monitor at work. I am now buying a monitor for home gaming/media system and decided to check the stats on the monitor that I've been using for over a year at work. To my surprise, this monitor has most of the...

A Good Value

This monitor is an excellent value for its price point. No dead pixels, and the colors are as sharp I'd expect them to be after using a Spyder3 to calibrate them

No HDMI port. The speakers are complete garbage, but I've yet to find any monitor for which that isn't the case

Low price, met expectations

Came with the brightness cranked up to the max. You will need to take some time to get it adjusted to your satisfaction, but once you do that, it works pretty well.

Good picture, works well with Windows 7. Very good value for the price. Usual ViewSonic great quality. No dead pixels, etc

Response time is a little slow, tried it out on Farcry 2 and the motion became a bit jerky. Might be the higher resolution required is taxing my video card, we'll see when I drop the AA setting. Speakers are tinny. Ok if you don't already have...

Excellent Picture, Great Value

Purchased this based on Consumer Reports recommendation. First unit became defective (no picture) five minutes after installation. NewEgg happily shipped me a replacement unit and sent a no-charge shipping label to return the defective unit. Great...

Excellent picture, easy controls, VESA mount permits installation on a wall

Display stand is limited in ability: no height adjustment; no swivel adjustment unless you swivel the base on the desk; does permit tilt adjustment

Good for a casual user

Not remotely for hardcore professional use, but I think is around 80% of the performance for 50% of the cost of a pro monitor.

Good value for money. On sale, it's great value for money ; No dead pixels, and no ghosting in fast moving images ; Powers up and locks signals more quickly than other LCDs that I've had in the past ; Bright, nice contrast in colors. I like how...

Required calibration (via Spyder3) to remove a color cast. Required recalibration once, but has held steady since ; Blacks aren't even close to being even across the screen surface, and are uneven at the edges ; Viewing angle isn't very wide in a real...

Excellent Monitor for the $$$

Strictly speaking, I'd give the picture quality 4 eggs, but I'd only give 5 eggs to a true top end panel/CRT that you can do professional color work with. I still use a CRT monitor for that work as it can match colors more precisely and I already own a...

Got it for $159.00 on a newegg email deal. Bought it for my son to take to college. Wanted a good 1080 monitor but not to high $$$ so I wouldn't be too upset if it grew legs ; Tested it out of box after letting it auto adjust with PassMark MonitorTest...

Noticable light bands on top and bottom of monitor on pitch black screen. Built in speakers are terrible, but they will never be used anyway. Not sure why they bothered to put them on the monitor
