Good for the price

I have has this monitor since 2006 and it is still running strong. I would steer buyers away from this though, it's 12MS response time is rather sluggish compared to the modern 5MS. It is very bright but can occasionally cause fatigue in the eye....

This monitor was a surprise. I find the quality excellent. It is very bright and colors are strong. I did not know ViewSonic's reputation and I find it more to my liking than Samsung or Dell. This may not be for the professional seeking a neutral color...

Works great for me!

My only regret is that I didn't pay approximately $60 more to get the 19-inch VA902B. I already have a VA902B, which is black,t not the 2-tone silver and black version like this one, and that one is great, just like this model!

Ok Display

I Bought a 20.1 inch widescreen from view sonic on the same order and it is b-e-a-utiful. What ever happened to FEDEX??? Remember NO DVI connector, it only likes 1280 x 1024 @ 60mhz if you go to 70 mhz you cannot read the text at all.

Nice looks, has an integrated stand. UPS actually Delivered something within the 3 day time frame

It has one DEAD pixel ; I would never buy this cheap of a monitor again!!!!!! I gave it two stars and not one due to looks of the unit

Viewsonic 17" LCD

I am going to buy an other one soon for dual monitors at home.

Excelent quality, I work with dual 19" viewsonic monitors and the 17" one that i have at home blows them away. The pictures are very sharp and flawless. It is a really simple plug and play type of monitor. Highly recomended

None that I can think of. Oh wait I know, its to thin and the pictures are too perfect
