The CNET reviewer came up with some pretty strange numbers. Perhaps it was a Friday and he was in a hurry? The native resolution on this monitor is 1400 x 1050, not 1400 x 1550 or 1440 x 1050. I have no idea where he got those numbers from.

If you want a dual monitor setup, with limited funds this is the one. If you only need one monitor, it is reasonably priced, but on the low end for resolution. Not the best monitor for graphics, i.e. AutoCAD, Corel X4, etc.

Nice monitor for the price. I use the digital mode. The speakers are lousy, so I kept my external speakers. My system seems to run faster. I put white paint into the setup ICONS at the bottom right of the monitor. The "1", up arrow, down arrow and "2"...

Digital output. Clear even at 85 DPI

Saved a 300.00 monitor

If in fact the capacitors are your problem with any monitor or TV, this is the way to go. Its hard to find high quality componets needed for this repair. It makes it real easy getting all of them in one place.

Great monitor for the money!

This is a great monitor for the money.

The only con that I can report is that the screen controls are a little cumbersome, but not a major issue due to the price / performance of this LCD screen.
