Images look good once the display is calibrated ; Good response time

Out-of-the-box settings are inaccurate ; Limited viewing angles

Viewsonic VP2250wb

Four small function buttons located along the lower bezel are used to access the on-screen display setup menu, where you can tweak settings such as color temperature, brightness, contrast, and image size and position. There are also fine tuning and...

Wide color gamut. Highly adjustable. Good overall image quality

Poor vertical viewing angle performance. USB ports hard to reach. Slightly weak grayscale performance

The ViewSonic VP2250wb delivers a bright, vibrant picture and a nice feature set, including a flexible stand and four USB ports. Its enhanced color capabilities make it a good choice for users who require accurate color reproduction, but its viewing...

ViewSonic VP2250wb LCD Monitor

The ViewSonic VP2250wb won't satisfy the pickiest of pro users, but anyone looking for good color reproduction at a reasonably affordable price should take a look at this monitor.

Generally good color reproduction and performance; affordable for an advanced product; 4-port USB hub; movies look great

Minor issues with extreme dark end of grayscale; very large base; connectors not easy to get to; no HDMI; doesn't support 1080p resolution

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

Review: ViewSonic VP2250wb LCD monitor

ViewSonic's VP2250wb is a fine, affordable multimedia and general-purpose display. But color professionals and those who often collaborate with co-workers may want to look elsewhere for a display with better viewing angles,

Images look good once the display is calibrated ; Good response time

Out-of-the-box settings are inaccurate ; Limited viewing angles

Setup was straightforward. We connected the VP2250wb to our Mac Pro via the DVI port using the included cable. The display can tilt forward and back and has up and down height adjustment. There’s no ability to pivot into portrait mode, but we usually...

ViewSonic VP2250wb

This LCD contains 5ms panel, not 2ms panel! After 2 weeks using, I get it to the service, where the experts has determined this type of LCDs contain slow 5ms panel, and it is over-driven electronically, which results very bad, gay and strong...

Sharp text, rich colors

Very strong, gay purplish patches using 2ms response time; practically it contains 5ms panel

Nice monitor, though it's an impostor....

This is a TN panel...if you're a graphics professional, or an amateur photographer who has the potential of being a pro, save money (or just spend more) toward a good S-IPS panel. Sadly, those are about twice the price, but one thing is certain: You're...

Great specs, good price:performance ratio, gorgeous display for photos, fairly color accurate with seconds worth of tweaking, good saturation, rotation works well, base is sturdy, adjustments are made through the computer, not through a clunky display...

There is a lot of color bleeding with this monitor, it is ultra sensitive to viewing it anywhere off center, the software that it comes with is ULTRA BUGGY, the adjustments that can be made are not enough for doing real monitor calibration for...

There is, of course, the obvious issue of this monitor's gaming performance. I don't consider this monitor's sub-par gaming performance to be a con. THIS IS NOT A GAMING MONITOR!! ViewSonic never claimed it was a gaming monitor; and NewEgg doesn't list...

Excellent contrast, great brightness, and superb spatial uniformity! I mean it; the spatial uniformity of this monitor is the best I have ever seen. If you need a common frame of reference, the uhhh.... eh'hem "fruity" computer manufacturer's cinema...

There are no aspects of this monitor that I would really consider to be cons

Not for gaming

Good for media use. Nice to have USB ports and the screen feels solid and rotates around easily. Games just didn't look good on it. Stick with a 5ms gaming screen from the same brand, or cling to your ancient CRT for another year like me.

Colors certainly were vibrant. The calibration utility wasn't that useful to me, I ended up using the OSD which was pretty decent. Viewing angle was surprisingly good, esp. horizontal. Frame is solid, and the screen rotation is pretty smooth. No dead...

Where to begin... the 2ms response time looks terrible in most games. Huge negative after-images with any kind of saturated color on screen. I had to lower the response time to the slowest possible to consider some games playable (including WoW). The...

Love It

No major hang-ups with this monitor so far. Looks absolutely astounding with photos and videos. The best monitor that I've ever used on games, too. Battlefield 2142 has never looked so good! Pixel pitch is slightly smaller than most monitors of this...

A little hard to calibrate. Calibration software that came with the monitor didn't work for me. I think the software isn't supporting the hardware yet (looks like a 3rd party developer.) Once it's calibrated, it looks phenomenal

The color seems to jump off the screen. Very crisp picture. No dead pixels. A monitor with height adjust is great. Almost no glare at all

The NEC 22" I bought sucks. Horrible glare. Should have stuck with viewsonic pro series
