The Viewsonic VX2770Smh-LED is an attractive 27-inch IPS monitor that delivers very good color and off-angle viewing performance. However, it's a bit light on features and has some trouble display fast moving images smoothly.

Cannot be mounted.

If you don't plan on mounting this, or using this in a multiple monitor configuration, then buy it, its a solid monitor for single monitor desktop use.

Solid monitor, shame on the mount designers

This is not VESA compliant; i.e., it CANNOT be mounted on ANYTHING other than the included stand. ViewSonic took a phenomenal monitor and decided that no person would ever need up/down motion or want to mount these monitors in a multiple monitor...

HUGE!

Monitor is large and bright. Some people say 1080 on a 27 inch monitor is not high even resolution. I think its perfect.

Incredible Picture, acceptable latency

Its got a beutiful, accurate, picture. The fact that its IPS gives it great viewing angles with no signs of washout or discoloration except at VERY extreme anges (160deg+). Enthusiast gamers can be happy with this panel IF you enable some form of LCD...

average, expected more from IPS

since this was an IPS panel, and several years newer than the Viewsonic 16x10 1920x1200 monitor its replacing, I got my hopes up a lot. It turns out to have been a disappointment. THe brightness for one isn\'t even as good as a Viewsonic made in 2007,...

Wish it had a VESA mount

Happy with the purchase. Can sit 5-6 feet away from the screen now! Feel less tired

27" IPS ; Very cheap (black friday sale) ; frames are narrow ; DVI input ; great design

sensor buttons. Fortunately, you don't need to use them more than once ; no VESA mount ; the Stand is flimsy ; the speakers is a joke ; just 1 HDMI input ; no cable management

Great Monitor

I did not purchase the item from NewEgg however the retailer I happened to be at, wanted the same money for it. I was able to get them to knock another $50 bucks off though, so $249.

This is a great monitor at a good price. The colors are bright and the display is crisp. I've always had good luck with ViewSonic and this one doesn't disappoint either

I'll be honest, it took about 10 minutes to figure out where the stupid control buttons were. Granted, I wasn't setting it up in the brightest lit room, but still ; If you're thy kinda person that wants to tweak and tweak and tweak your monitor...

Never will go back

I've gone from a 17", to 19", 24" and now 27". Each time I thought I could never go back but now I definately can't. This is the perfect monitor for anyone. The quality is very comparable to the 27" Apple Thunderbolt in my opinion, yet $700 cheaper.

27 ; Super Clear IPS Panel ; Full HD LED ; About in inch at most thick, very sleek design

I find it annoying to plug in the hdmi to the back, but that's just me and its not a big deal at all whatsoever

Great Display

This display is one of the best I have ever had. Great picture and color quality. Easy setup. Paperwork is a little sparse but I would still buy again.
