Great monitors

Please turn off 'Trace Free' and 'VividPixel' before writing a negative review about these monitors, it really fixes a lot of the issues most people complain about. Even with the small issues, no eggs need to be docked. Plan on buying a 3rd

Needed 2 monitors for my desk at work and wanted something larger, and after looking at a few 27" monitors I decided on these. They are amazing for the price point, great colors and lots of options as far as picture goes. The thin bezel really makes it...

Did have to make some adjustments to the settings to get it looking correct. There are 2 options in the settings, 'Trace Free' and 'VividPixel'. Putting both of these settings to 0 fixed the weird pixelated look and fixed some color issues. Also had an...

Best monitor I've ever owned

I purchased this monitor on (undisclosed bidding site with the word 'bay' in it) for cheap because it was missing part of the stand. I am using this with a wall mount, so it was a non-issue. The NewEgg price is a bit high, but I would say it is well...

Thin bezel makes my other 27" Samsung look ancient ; Includes every sort of cable imaginable, DisplayPort, HDMI to USB (for medialink), HDMI, VGA, and power

No refurbished model yet

Don't buy this Piece Of Junk

Wow, a thirty-six buck restocking fee! I own 4 other monitors, KDS, ASUS, Samsung, 22", 24", 32", 40". My other ASUS monitor VE 247H, has a much clearer picture and the colors are truer. Overall, I rate this ASUS VN279Q a POJ, Piece of Junk!

Low priced. Thin bezel

Poor display quality, colors are washed out and contrast doesn't balance,(I tried adjusting everything), No DVI input, Buttons are on the rear of monitor, making it difficult to use OSD menu. Power indicator light is a little too bright

As for the fellow referring to this monitor having the quality of a tube tv.... He did something wrong. Either the resolution is incorrect or he has the ASUS VividPixel at 100. I recommend turning VividPixel off. The only time I use this feature is for...

Huge screen! The biggest monitor I have purchased so far. Thin bezel. Nice crisp text. Blu ray movies look great blacks are fantastic. I really love this monitor

No DVI!!! I should have payed more attention before I bought it

This monitor has compatibility issue with AMD video card over HDMI. It can't show full screen with about 1" black edge and display also blurry. No issue when using Display port cable. No issue when connected to Intel or nVidia video card over HDMI ; I...
