excellent monitor

unfortunatly did not buy this from newegg. but i had to review it, after seeing it was for sale here.. its my first LCD monitor, so i was excited to find an affordable widescreen monitor after my 19" CRT died.

very bright.. i mainly view on economy mode (lowest brightness), the "picture" setting is way to bright for me :) also has an auto focus feature, which seems to do a good job of adjusting the demensions of the screen

im sure there could be more features.. the speakers could deff be better ; cant view it well at the angle i like to sit in my chair.. have to raise my chair, or sit monitor lower.. regular LCD problem, no biggie

VERY Surprised!

Wish that I had bought more than 1.

I bought this monitor to replace a 15" Dell that was starting to lose pixels. I didn't have a lot in my budget, and I wanted something in the 19-20" range with DVI. When I found this WIDESCREEN monitor for $150, I was a little hesitant, but decided to...

Like one of the other reviewers said, it doesn't come with the DVI cable, but for $150 - WHO CARES

Great monitor!

Wish it had HDCP..

No dead pixels ; Huge compared to my old 15 ; Sturdy stand ; Worked immediately with Windows XP ; Great monitor, well worth the buy

Buttons behind front on monitor, not too bad but makes it a little difficult when changing prefs

You Will Be Amazed !

You cannot go wrong here. Westinghouse has been in business since the 1880's in one form or another, so you know there's a longstanding tradition of quality and inovation behind their products. Trust me, this is a solid product that you will be...

I purchased for home office primarily for spread sheets & internet as one of my old HP f50's was flickering it's way to monitor heaven. So although I didn't buy this here, I felt compelled to write as I have purchased many things @ the Egg, and value...

I didn't buy 2 when they were on sale

Great LCD

Get this monitor if you want one that excels in gaming and is fairly cheap.

This is a great monitor to say the least. It is very bright, but it has 3 levels of brightness, text, economy, or picture. It also has 5ms response time so there is absolutely no ghosting

Doesn't come with a DVI cable. Only like 10 dollars though

Westinghouse is the most underrated brand!

If your a gamer you cannot go wrong with this. It is $1XX.99 is a great value for such a quality product.

Very thin monitor about an 1 1/2 thick takes up barely any space ; 1440X900 resolution MAX. DVI inputs and VGA. Widescreen is very nice ; This monitor looks like a 20-22 inch when you are on playing on it ; I upgraded from an HP CRT 17 inch monitor and...

Speakers I woudln't even try them out I didn't ; I didn't buy this from Newegg but mine came with one single dead pixel about an inch from the bottom so I returned it got a new one and now my monitor is perfect condition ; Small power buttons and menu...

The window to your Computer's soul

For me, a monitor is a way to relate to the computer software, operating system and hardware visually. High resolution is great, it helps my vision, but the affect it has on me when I use it (versus other monitors) is how I judge a monitor. First ...
