Great concept

Bought this specifically to play space flight sims, such as Elite: Dangerous. Works great, spring tension at 100% any direction is fairly stiff and strains the wrist over long periods of time. If you want a joystick setup, buy a joystick. I'll mostly...

Works exactly as expected. Intuitive controls and simplified settings make this very usable for a wide range of programs. Seems to work best for 3d rendering software like sketchup or blender. With the right set of 3rd party drivers this can be used as...

Spring on up direction seems stiffer than the other directions, pulling to 100% of upward movement is almost enough to lifts the base into the air, second hand required to hold base in place during these movements

3Dconnexion 3DX-700028

Nothing comes close to increasing your CAD productivity like a 3D mouse. 3Dconnexion pretty much owns the market. This little guy is easy to transport, It's also got enough weight to stay seated on your desk

Nice Product

This is a solid little piece of hardware. The metal base is sturdy, and it stays where it should on the desk as you use it. Effort for use is minimal. It is compatible with most of the software that I use and functions exceptionally

(not really a con) ; Sometimes my browser will be acting up and scrolling on its own. I have since discovered that something as small as an envelope touching this device will activate it. Make sure your desk is clean

Bad Customer Service

I used a ton of 3Dconnexion products at work, but we all use the same PC configuration leading to no issues at all from the spaceballs. I bought one from home to use on my new Windows 7 machine and the device is not recognized even with the latest...
