In the October 2009 issue, we took a look at Aerocool's Touch 2000 fan controller and found it to be a worthy accessory for any system with fans in need of serious observation. (See page 36.) This month, we're setting our sights on the Touch...

The LCD touchscreen was responsive and easy to use. If your computer sits on your desktop, the LCD’s bright backlight could cause a glare issue, and there’s no option to reduce the screen's brightness.

If you are getting a case with a lot of cooling fans, this is perfect to manage them all. It splits the power instead of having to run so many lines to each fan. Only thing I would do to make it better is for it to tie up with USB or some other...

It (sort of) works

 

Easy to install, poor and confusing multi-lingual directions. Hard to adjust fan speeds and yes, the tape doesn't hold the heat sensors very well. If you have multiple cooling fans, it is a very adequate controller.

Expecting more

 

Wile you can adjust the fans, the temp sensors are a pain to get on properly (find a place close to the real heat) The tape is a joke. I did not use the temp sensors. I just needed the fan control any way to add more fans to my case.

Nice looking

 

Great looks, works perfect. I use it for 3 case fans, not the cpu. I keep my case fans at 500 to 600 rpm nice and quiet.

This cooler is boss.

 

I have it in my Cooler Master 932 HAF, everything but CPU is under 29 degrees C. Fan speed control and instant visual of temps is teh awesome.
