Cyborg M.M.O. 7 Gaming Mouse Review

Great construction and customizability; plenty of buttons; sharp looks

A little too easy to accidentally hit ActionLock buttons

WE HAVEN'T TRIED to hide our enthusiasm for Mad Catz’ high-tech Cyborg line of gaming mice—we’ve been big fans of the line since the R.A.T. 7 launched two years ago. Now, the folks at Mad Catz are expanding the Cyborg line into the new and thriving...

Cyborg M.M.O.7 Mouse Review

Mad Catz's Peripherals Division, Cyborg, releases a mouse with 78 programmable functions and a reshapable body for online RPG fans. Take a look at our test.

Great choice of programmable buttons (13) and functions (78) ; Colored buttons are easy to spot ; Friendly configuration software with several presets ; Adjustable to the user’s hand ; ActionLock” feature locks the right and left click buttons for...

Even without the weights, it’s a little awkward to lift the mouse ; Price tag is a little above high-end competitors ; Design may not agree with everyone’s tastes

Cyborg M.M.O. 7 Gaming Mouse Review

When we first started looking at Cyborg's R.A.T. mice we were a little concerned that they would be more style than substance. The design of each device certainly stood out from the crowd but surely something so "out there" couldn't beat the...

Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 7 Contagion edition review

Just as customisable as ever, but now easier on the eye

pretty sick mouse!

everyone who touches my mouse is heavily stumped on how to use it. very accurate on shooter games and the hotkeys are easy to use on MOBA games.

It began to fail on the optic lens and sometimes the mouse doesn't recognize movement or it gets inverted on its own, I have to give it a good ol Fonzie and it starts working again, sometimes 2 or 3.

Mad Catz MCB437130002/04/1

My mouses sensitivity will sometimes randomly change, and rapidly too. I thought it might be dust built up on the glass protecting the laser, but that was not the case. For the cost of this mouse, I expected it to be significantly more reliable and...

Ability to customize vast number of button settings, sleek design that can be altered to fit each individuals hand

Must re-activate button settings each time computer is reset, or after computer sleeps for an extended period of time. Will randomly become unresponsive, requiring the mouse to be unplugged and then replugged in, sometimes to a different USB slot....

Amazing...for a while

I bought this mouse 2 years ago after shopping around for quite a while. I loved the layout of this mouse. It lasted for about a year, until the sensor started dying. It would randomly lose tracking. So I sent it in for replacement, and customer...

Great Customizability, high build quality, relatively intuitive software

Some buttons can't be programmed (random pinky switch whose functionality I never figured out), Huge price

Mouse Feels/Looks Great, But Had to Return

The thing is obviously beautiful. I like the customizable LED's. It feels amazing in my hand but only because i have had R.A.T's int he past. The matte finish feels great as well, but makes it a easy target for the oils in your skin. If your new to the...

For some reason I began having issues with the M.M.O 7. After owning it for a few months, it began to have a software issue. i know my software pretty well and it was a problem that I simply could not resolve. I ended up returning it to Newegg for a...
