FUNC MS-3 Gaming Mouse Review

Does the new shape take some time to get used to; I would say yes. Your hand memory of how a standard mouse feels gets all whacked out when you first grab the MS-3 mouse. After using it for a while you start to get use to the new feeling and begin to...

Func MS-3 Gaming Mouse

Func are known for their mousepads so today we have high expectations with their gaming mouse. We received their Func MS-3 Gaming Mouse on our test bench today that we are going to be trying out. This mouse has loads of buttons and is ergonomically...

Comfortable ; Sleeved cable ; Nice software ; Buttons

Price ; Small hands wont reach all buttons ; No weights

This is an excellent mouse that sells for around 80$ in the states, I think the pricetag is a tad to steep. Overall though this is a very nice mouse with excellent performance, nice features and tons of buttons.

Func MS-3 Mouse & 1030XL Mouse Mat

The Func MS-3 is a very nice mouse for play, but has a few downsides besides it high price of $79. You do not get the latest generation of Avago's high-end laser sensor, which curtails the mouse's DPI a bit—a minor issue as most gamers do no utilize...

Superb ergonomics, Good build quality, Lots of buttons, Feature rich, Nice design, Good driver suite, Great tracking, Two different high-performance surfaces, Base design is very good, Comfortable to use, Perfect glide and control, Compatible with most...

Large and slightly heavy, Pricey!, Some buttons are not that useful, Balance of the mouse is not perfect, Not the newest generation sensor, Scratches show easily, Can be noisy when dirty

Func MS-3 Gaming Mouse

On 9/9/1999, a company started in California with the goal of creating "fantastic equipment... with the sole purpose of enhancing the experience of playing a great game, rather than diminishing it." Soon after, the original Func sUrface 1030 launched,...

Comfortable ; A lot of thought put into every detail ; Features really do let you focus on your game ; DPI/Sensitivity/Angle Snapping/Button Assignments/LEDs all customizable ; Has a sense of style - great design throughout ; Very comfortable grip for...

Palm grip only ; Palms/mouse will get sweaty ; Macro editor needs to be little more powerful

They got it right. It isn't perfect, and won't be for claw or fingertip grip users, but the MS-3 is a well-constructed device with a focus on giving you an advantage in-game. It does that quite well - better than most, I'd say.

FUNC MS-3 Gaming Mouse Review

Func MS-3 Review

Func Industries return with their new gaming mouse which features 512KB onboard memory, 5670DPI sensor, Omron switches and much more besides.

At least 8 easily accessible programmable buttons ; Ergonomic Shape ; OMRON Switches ; Three independent profiles ; LED accent lighting

Weak mouse wheel ; Inflexible macro creator ; Limited number of possible macros ; Wide base causes more drag than some alternatives

If we're honest we were not wowed by the Surface 1030XL, and so approached this review with some trepidation. At first glance the MS-3 appeared to be a simple re-badge of one of the hundreds of generics already around, but the reality is very different.

Today we are looking at the new gaming mouse from FUNC – the MS3. This mouse targets the high end enthusiast sector and is priced accordingly, around £60 inc vat. The MS-3 uses an Avago Laser sensor which the company claim delivers stable results with...

Excellent build quality ; highly sensitive ; sized for bigger hands ; tracks well on a variety of surfaces ; 2 year warranty ; great cable design ; not overloaded with useless gimmicks

smaller hands may find the girth intimidating ; A lot of competition at this price

Kitguru says: A cracking mouse which will suit the larger people out there, like myself!

Terrible Quality

Buy at your own risk. I owned 3, all of them broken.

The mouse feels very nice to the hand, and i enjoyed using it whenever it actually worked

After about 6 months of use, the mouse started to develop a short in the cord. Eventually, the cord stopped working completely and I had it replaced through Func. However, not 3 months after receiving the new mouse, the problem developed again. So, I...
