Func MS-3 Gaming Mouse

Func are known for their mousepads so today we have high expectations with their gaming mouse. We received their Func MS-3 Gaming Mouse on our test bench today that we are going to be trying out. This mouse has loads of buttons and is ergonomically...

Comfortable ; Sleeved cable ; Nice software ; Buttons

Price ; Small hands wont reach all buttons ; No weights

This is an excellent mouse that sells for around 80$ in the states, I think the pricetag is a tad to steep. Overall though this is a very nice mouse with excellent performance, nice features and tons of buttons.

Func MS-3 Gaming Mouse

On 9/9/1999, a company started in California with the goal of creating "fantastic equipment... with the sole purpose of enhancing the experience of playing a great game, rather than diminishing it." Soon after, the original Func sUrface 1030 launched,...

Comfortable ; A lot of thought put into every detail ; Features really do let you focus on your game ; DPI/Sensitivity/Angle Snapping/Button Assignments/LEDs all customizable ; Has a sense of style - great design throughout ; Very comfortable grip for...

Palm grip only ; Palms/mouse will get sweaty ; Macro editor needs to be little more powerful

They got it right. It isn't perfect, and won't be for claw or fingertip grip users, but the MS-3 is a well-constructed device with a focus on giving you an advantage in-game. It does that quite well - better than most, I'd say.

FUNC MS-3 Gaming Mouse Review

Today on our test bench we will be taking a look at FUNC's first gaming mouse in their new range, the MS-3. The MS-3 is a 10 button large gaming mouse with a unique thumbzone button configuration and we are keen to see if it lives up to the quality...

A great new product for FUNC, the MS-3 is an excellent mouse for those looking for something a little larger than standard. High quality build and great finish support with good software configuration options.

After my initial reservations over the shape of the Func MS-3 (Revision 2), I have actually had a great time reviewing it. The shape suits my palm style of game play and you feel that the mouse is never going to slip in the heat of a game. The buttons...

FUNC MS-3 Gaming Mouse Review

Today's gaming peripheral market includes a dizzying array of mice, each one with its own features but very few of them will cause jaded enthusiasts

Func MS-3 Review

Func Industries return with their new gaming mouse which features 512KB onboard memory, 5670DPI sensor, Omron switches and much more besides.

At least 8 easily accessible programmable buttons ; Ergonomic Shape ; OMRON Switches ; Three independent profiles ; LED accent lighting

Weak mouse wheel ; Inflexible macro creator ; Limited number of possible macros ; Wide base causes more drag than some alternatives

If we're honest we were not wowed by the Surface 1030XL, and so approached this review with some trepidation. At first glance the MS-3 appeared to be a simple re-badge of one of the hundreds of generics already around, but the reality is very different.

FUNC MS-3 Gaming Mouse Review

Today we are looking at the new gaming mouse from FUNC – the MS3. This mouse targets the high end enthusiast sector and is priced accordingly, around £60 inc vat. The MS-3 uses an Avago Laser sensor which the company claim delivers stable results with...

Excellent build quality ; highly sensitive ; sized for bigger hands ; tracks well on a variety of surfaces ; 2 year warranty ; great cable design ; not overloaded with useless gimmicks

smaller hands may find the girth intimidating ; A lot of competition at this price

Kitguru says: A cracking mouse which will suit the larger people out there, like myself!

Terrible Quality

Buy at your own risk. I owned 3, all of them broken.

The mouse feels very nice to the hand, and i enjoyed using it whenever it actually worked

After about 6 months of use, the mouse started to develop a short in the cord. Eventually, the cord stopped working completely and I had it replaced through Func. However, not 3 months after receiving the new mouse, the problem developed again. So, I...

Almost Brilliant

The software only let's you change DPI in 90 DPI increments, which is worth an egg in it of itself, as that prevents me from using my preferred DPI of 400. Also, everytime my PC is restarted, i have to go back into the software to set it to the proper...

Great Ergonomic shape, Matte finish, Well placed side buttons

Mediocre Software, some LEDs are permanently orange

Just...awesome. BEST mouse for the price, for larger hands.

I like what Func is doing with their peripherals. I like their no-nonsense approach to the software and design of their products. I like that they get out of their own way to just let YOU use your computer and are content to blend into the background -...

This is the mouse that singlehandedly switched me from a claw grip to a palm grip, especially for general computer use. I had the rev 1 version, and loved it - it's still working, but I've had to clean out the primary switches to keep it from double...

The only downside to the settings software that I've found is when bringing your Func MS-3 r2 to a new machine. If you want to change the already customized settings (stored in mouse memory), you'll need to install the settings software - no big deal,...
