Gigabyte GM-M6880 gaming mouse

Gaming peripherals usually restrict themselves to enthusiasts on account of their price. However, Gigabyte has attempted to break this trend with its GM series of gaming mice that do not cost the earth. The Gigabyte GM-M6880 is a laser mouse that falls...

Cheap, good weight

Too sensitive in some games

However, in games that don't require all that much precision including GTA IV and Saint's Row 2, the Gigabyte GM-M6880's extra sensitivity served as an actual detriment. It was a similar case in RTS titles such as Dawn of War and Starcraft

Gigabyte GM-M6880 Computer Gaming Mouse Review

Coming in at £9.99 it definitely looks the part: it has the typical ‘gaming' design and comes in a ‘metal black' colour that gives a nice shine to it, but unfortunately the same material that gives it this shine is also particularly good at becoming...

GIGABYTE GM-M6800

I bought this mouse on 9/10/12.... Just this week the button under the center wheel has started to fail. It's not ultra smooth or ultra customizable BUT, this mouse has lasted me for YEARS under heavy use. I bought it as a hold over when my R.A.T. 3...

Extremely low priced. Light. Comfortable to my grip style. Decent amount of buttons

May be too light for some. No LED to see what the dpi is at. Not the smoothest

Good quality sound but...

Overall I'd buy it again just because of the wear and tear it took before dying out, ive had other mouse in the same price range be a lot worse

Took a beating for 4 years of heavy use (is finally dying) ; Nice size/ weight for medium/ large hands

As some of the other reviews said ; Side grips adhesive falls off eventually making a gooey mess ; Locks up on the bottom left of the screen sometimes and needs to be re-plugged ; Mouse switch clicks erratically eventually

Good quality sound but...

This mouse is large and the quality is amazing for the price. It's comfortable to hold for long periods of times

No gigabyte program to remap the two buttons on the side

2 Years of Glory

So two and a half years, and a recorded 907,331 clicks on my left mouse button, the switch has been officially worn out. Good ergonomics for a palm grip, what most people do. Very accurate when on 800dpi. I bought this mouse when it was $20, would buy...

Good sensor ; Quality switches ; Great shape for medium to large hands

Scroll wheel often detects multiple movements in specific positions along the wheel ; The plastic it uses wears quickly. After one year of use it was completely smooth on both the clickers. Also, the rubber pads on the side become very nasty feeling....

Mouse

It fits well in my hand. The design of the mouse is pretty good. My hand does not become fatigued when using it over long periods of time. I got this mouse on sale for $10 at the time

The cord for the mouse I find just a little short. The cord length is about 5ft long
