Gigabyte GM-M6880 gaming mouse

Gaming peripherals usually restrict themselves to enthusiasts on account of their price. However, Gigabyte has attempted to break this trend with its GM series of gaming mice that do not cost the earth. The Gigabyte GM-M6880 is a laser mouse that falls...

Cheap, good weight

Too sensitive in some games

However, in games that don't require all that much precision including GTA IV and Saint's Row 2, the Gigabyte GM-M6880's extra sensitivity served as an actual detriment. It was a similar case in RTS titles such as Dawn of War and Starcraft

Gigabyte GM-M6880 Computer Gaming Mouse Review

Coming in at £9.99 it definitely looks the part: it has the typical ‘gaming' design and comes in a ‘metal black' colour that gives a nice shine to it, but unfortunately the same material that gives it this shine is also particularly good at becoming...

GIGABYTE GM-M6800

This is a great mouse if you need something to hold you over or as a throwaway, but it is not recommended for constant, permanent use. The switches for the left and right buttons will degrade after a year of heavy use and begin to intermittently double...

goodish

did last long before completely failing, i do tend to hang onto things till they fall apart to dust. i always thought it was on the light side but kinda got use to it a bit

have had it for over 3 years. with nothing big going wrong

but soon after getting all the the rubber bits started to slide around. after about a year the right button always kinda felt like it was working right and now for a while has been double clicking about 90% of the time. during a sandbox game which i...

Decent but only if price is right

Ok if you can get it on sale but this is a cheap mouse and you get what you pay for. In the $15 dollar range there are probably better mice.

Still working ; Ok for light to medium gaming use ; 5 buttons + DPI (cant re-assign DPI button)

Ridge/bump on right side is uncomfortable after long periods of use ; DPI changes by itself ; This is a re-brand of a cheap mouse you can get for $5 on auction sites

Love it!

Love this mouse. Size it great for my hand. Never had problems with it

Setup software was removed from Gigabyte's website. But all the buttons all work like they should. I don't remember if there was a software/driver disc included with this mouse or not

Cheap

You get what you pay for. Feels cheap, and it is.

the DPI setting and dual laser made for a precse mouse

After about a month of owning it, the rubber grips on the sides started coming unglued and sliding around. Then just recently the left mouse click would double click on it's own when I clicked once, or sometimes not clicking at all
