HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse

The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse connects via your computer's Wi-Fi signal—something rather new to the peripheral space—and although this wireless connection offers more compatibility than Bluetooth, it's not as reliable.

No USB dongles to plug in, tags on to your Wi-Fi signal. Rubber side grips. Browser buttons. Ambidextrous. Vertical scrolling

Signal cuts out on occasion. No support for Mac OS or older versions of Windows

HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse (Black)

Those who travel for work with a small laptop know the value of a spare USB port. With Bluetooth still a rarity on mobile PCs, Hewlett-Packard's Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse offers an alternative way to free up some extra connectivity. For $49.99 when it debuts...

By using your wireless receiver to connect to your PC, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse frees up USB ports for connectivity-starved travelers.

The mouse won't work without Windows 7, and it will be unreliable if you don't have a Windows 7-certified wireless adapter.

Thanks to its unique, reliable Wi-Fi-based connection methodology, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is easy to recommend to mobile Windows 7 PC users who need more available USB ports.

HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse review

If you want a wire-free mouse to use with your laptop, but don't reckon you can spare a USB port for a wireless dongle, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse may be right up your street.

Windows 7 users only need apply, but they're in for a bit of a treat: a smart, reliable, comfy and accurate wireless mouse that doesn't even need a dongle to perform its magic.

"HP wifi mouse is as worthless as whistle on a plow!"

I take it out of the junk box every few months, down load a driver and fool with it for an hour then throw it back in after it doesn't work.

Looks nice. Uses common batteries.

Will not work.

"Frustrated!"

Don't waste your money on this product.

Nice design. Doesn't use a USB port.

I purchased this mouse several months ago and my patience with it has run out. I lose the connection with the mouse about every other day. The only way to reconnect the mouse with the computer is to restart the computer.

Great Option to Free Up a USB Port

Overall a good option for those who use a laptop with a limited number of USB ports and want to keep them open for other peripherals. Bought this to replace a 5-yr old Logitech mouse and, so far, am satisfied with its performance. Needed a mouse that...

Easy to connect. Good ergonomics - compares favorably to Logitech mice. Easy to use control panel. Tilt wheel allows for left and right scrolling

Smooth-rolling track wheel doesn't provide feedback. Cover popped off a few times during initial use but seems OK now

Does.Not.Work.

Purchased through Amazon so returning it was easy

Could not sync with HP Touchsmart. Searching forums, multiple contacts with HP for support, and every driver update conceivable produced no results. The wi-fi adapter on my Touchsmart works fine and was available for use and the software would sporadic
