Again, from what I read this is really only a problem with Windows 7, probably only the x64 version but I could be wrong.

When it works: Very customizable, the quality I knew Logitech for, Comfortable to use

If you have Windows 7 DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE! Starting about a week or two ago the hardware of this mouse starts to bug out and you cant interact with the start menu or a lot of programs for that matter. You have to CTRL+ALT+DEL every time you do...

I did the three day shipping, and it was here in three days, awesome, the battery was charged right out of the box and installed! I love this mouse!!!

Very easy to use, comfortable ,rechargeable, programmable, the recharge cord is long enough for easy use, has some heft, it glides easily on the arm of my recliner, don't need a mouse pad , oh and scroll wheel is effortless

Good mouse

Over a year of daily use, still going strong. Solid claw-style grip, and works fine as a wired mouse

I don't often use it wireless, but when I do reconnect the cable afterwards it does a power cycle every few minutes until I reboot with the mouse wired. So -1 egg for that

Decent mouse, bad for palm grip/large hands

I have large-ish hands and prefer palm grip mice, but thought I'd give the G700s a try since it has a good size and seemingly ergonomic design. Unfortunately, the design of the mouse forces a claw/fingertip hybrid grip which is just not comfortable for...

Quality construction ; Plenty of buttons ; Logitech's gear wheel design ; Wired/wireless operation

Uncomfortable for palm-grip users ; Wired/wireless mode requires separate USB ports ; Factory cable too heavy, hinders mouse movement ; Battery life NOT great after some time

Review update

Usually purchasing refurbished is a good idea, it just didn't work out in this case. I just purchased the Gigabyte Aivia Uranium mouse for a great price from another retailer. That one looks pretty sweet.

It has become unusable. Today it got to the point where I was spending more time trying to deal with the problem than I was doing work. I am done with this mouse

Much worse than the last model

I had the last version of the G700 which is why I bought this one. It was really nice although it did have a few quirks. None as bad as this one. I really wanted this mouse to work out. I had researched a bunch of other gaming mice but none of them...

This is my work mouse. I draw CAD all day, every day for 8-10 hours ; Lots of customizable buttons! Woo! And there's a long list of pre-defined commands that can be assigned to each button ; Moves very well. Nice precision, flows smoothly. Great for...

I think the software hurts it more than it helps it. It has the ability to switch to multiple profiles on the fly. However, I only need one...and it doesn't like it, apparently. It could be once a week or twice a day, it doesn't matter, but sometimes...

Never Again

Logitech support refused to repair these mice so I bought new feet and repaired them myself. That is when I found the bad design. Search the web and you will find many forums full of angry customers with the same problem. Not everybody has the skills...

The mouse worked well while it lasted (see cons). The mouse tracks well and has a smooth feel on the mouse pad. Ergonomically it is comfortable and fits my Large/XLarge hand well. It works well with all versions of Windows as well as Linux, Unix, and...

The left click switch on the first mouse and the right click switch on the second mouse started to fail after about 3-4 months of use. Their website suggests a fix that requires pulling the battery and discharging the capacitors, but it only corrects...

If you don't have room for a joystick...

I might've given this 4 stars, but any issues with the mouse aren't anything that can't be compensated for by using it a little different.

Takes very little effort to move, but isn't too floaty, and the buttons have a nice tactile feel to them. The charging cable is made well and fits into the mouse without having to mess with it, even if it's a bit stiff at first. Feels nice and sturdy, too

The rechargeable battery that comes with this isn't very good, but you could replace it with a better NiCd AA. The scroll wheel has a button to make it clicky or smooth, on smooth it's too floaty and webpages can keep scrolling after you stop (it's...

Yes and no

I would love to give this 5 eggs. Actually it gets 5 in almost every way, except for battery life. In my experience it is really bad. I really like wireless, but a few hours of gaming will require to plug in much, much sooner than seems reasonable to...

Comfy, smooth, high customizability, change dpi on the go. Multiple profiles

Very poor battery life in my experience

Great Mouse

Still learning about the features, like how it feels in the hand, controls are smooth and responsive (gut takes getting used to the sensitivity of the controls), price was a good price, and being wireless is helpful.

Smooth, responsive, wireless, easy to use

A little too sensitive, takes getting used to
