Review Logitech Anywhere MX Mouse

Mobile Darkfield. Logitech has a small wireless mouse in its arra ...

The very good overall impression remains almost undimmed and thus we can recommend the Anywhere MX as a mobile notebook mouse

Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX

Not to be outdone by Microsoft and its BlueTrack laser tracking technology, Logitech recently introduced the Anywhere Mouse MX with Logitech's new Darkfield laser sensor. Darkfield tracks on almost all surfaces, including nonmirrored glass--a surface...

Darkfield technology tracks on any surface including glass; Unifying receiver pairs easily with other Logitech peripherals; power button conserves battery life; runs off a single AA battery.

Pricier than other mobile mice; smooth vertical rocker lacks precision.

The Anywhere Mouse MX bears Logitech's multiconnective Unifying receiver and glass-tracking Darkfield laser, but $80 is too much for a portable mouse--especially when the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 costs half the price for almost the same...

Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX

Logitech's latest portable mouse is as remarkable for the way the diminutive rodent fits in your hand as it is for the two new technologies that we assume contribute to its surprisingly high price tag. While the mouse isn't quite large enough to be...

Works on almost any surface; wireless receiver never needs to be removed and be used with several devices; feels great in the hand

Pricey; reaching the rear left-side thumb button is awkward

Logitech delivers two great new technologies and exquisite ergonomics with its latest travel mouse.

Logitech Anywhere MX Mouse

The best way to describe Logitech's Anywhere Mouse MX is to think of it as a mini SUV in 4x4 mode- small in size but takes you everywhere

Overall, the Anywhere Mouse MX might be the mouse I’ve used in years. It really is that good. Its also quite pricey for a mouse costing about AED 300 (US$80) which, I must say is quite a bit on the higher side. Even so, I highly recommend it.

Logitech Performance, Anywhere Mouse MX Review

Logitech's latest laser tracking technology in their Performance MX and Anywhere MX mice, Darkfield, promises to track even better than standard lasers multiple surfaces not possible before. The most impressive one? Glass.

at providing a smooth, uninterrupted mousing experience

"This mouse sucks with a vengeance."

This mouse sucks with a vengeance. I sent the first one back and the second one is going in the trash. The mouse pointer randomly jumps around the screen. The mouse randomly closes my open pages as I am working on them. It randomly jumps around an open...

Looks cool.

I am not going to try a third Anywhere Mouse even if it is free.

"This mouse will eventually break down on you. Don't buy"

This is my 2nd Anywhere MX mouse. The first one completely broke down after 3+ months of working perfectly. The mouse started to move on its own and became useless a few days later as it would move from one end of the screen to the other, all on its...

Works great, at first!

Will break down on you, read below.

"Worst mouse EVER"

Avoid it at all costs. If you think an expensive mouse is a quality mouse, this is the definitive example of how wrong this thought is.

It has a very tiny usb receptor and lots of buttons

Unreliable scroll wheel at first then after 4 months it now is scrolling up constantly, rendering the mouse unusable. Logitech support not helping much.

"Real nice features, even with a Mac !"

At this price, I was expecting something built for the road.

Lots of options, accurate, works anywhere.

Steel wheel too heavy for such thin axle. Drop it once, in the garbage can it will go !!!

"Horrible lag makes video games (PVKII) unplayable."

Maybe my 1 rating was a bit harsh, but considering that I bought the mouse specifically for video games and it renders the games absolutely and completely unplayable, the mouse is virtually useless to me. If the mouse and game worked smoothely together...

Seems to work really well in all other applications. Great tracking, excellent side-scrolling when it actualy works in Pirates, Vikings and Knights II.

I purchased this mouse specifically for playing Pirates, Vikings and Knights II, a Half-Life 2 mod based heavily on melee combat. This game requires very precise control and timing. While I was in awe of the improved side-scrolling compared to my earlie
