Logitech G9x

When we first reviewed the original Logitech G9 (November 2007), we didn't like it. Specifically, we thought it was uncomfortable to hold, using either of the removable shells. In fact, we described it as “not particularly comfortable for day-to-day...

The best sensor we've ever tested. On-the-fly sensitivity adjustment. Driver-less profiles

The satiny texture of the Wide Load shell gets sweaty & gross after long sessions

As before, we love the G9x’s profile feature, which lets you switch between pre-configured profiles on the fly on any PC, whether you have Logitech’s software installed or not (you will need to have Logitech’s software installed to configure the...

Logitech G9x

Do you prefer a mouse with substance or one you can flick with the slightest effort of your wrist? Do you need a wide mouse to fill a large hand, or would you prefer something more diminutive? Do you like a scroll wheel that clicks or one that rolls...

Highly customizable and programmable; delivers speed without sacrificing precision

Left mouse button is entirely too sensitive; the wheel button offers too much resistance; side-mounted buttons are poorly positioned

The slightest twitch of your index finger leaves you repeatedly reaching for the undo command.

5700 DPI sensitivity requires SetPoint software ; Cord may collect surface dust ; Expensive... but worth it ; Wide Load grip lacks pinkie support

Although the ratings and final score mentioned in this conclusion are made to be as objective as possible, please be advised that every author perceives these factors differently at various points in time. While we've done our best to ensure that all...

Logitech G9x Laser Mouse Review

Today we are going to look at the Logitech G9x laser gaming mouse which brings a plethora of interesting features to the table. These include an adjustable weights system, onboard settings profiles and two different grips which are designed to optimise...

The Logitech G9x is a hugely flexible gaming mouse that offers good performance and extensive configuration however it would certainly benefit from a small drop in RRP.

Logitech G9x Laser Mouse

When it comes to mice and keyboards gaming or otherwise there is one company everyone recognizes. Logitech is by far the largest peripheral manufacture in the world. In fact December of last year they produced their Billionth mouse, that's a lot of...

Overall Even though when I heard about the G9x I was a little skeptical about it, I was pleasantly surprised with a mouse that gives you the ability to change/adjust/tweak/tune every single aspect of it. No other mouse has the ability to change its...

Logitech G9x review

Rated at 5,000dpi, the G9x has the highest sensitivity of all the mice on test, but we found the angular design to be less comfortable than some of the others. We also found little difference between this mouse and SteelSeries' 3,200dpi Ikari Laser.

The G9x is loaded with features and has one of the highest sensitivity settings we've seen on a gaming mouse, but it's very expensive.

Logitech G9x

Swap-in grips ; Good software

Button placement isn't great ; Weight system is fiddly

While the G9x is definitely a competent player, we feel purely as a function of its age that there are now better options available to the hardcore gamer.
