Logitech Gaming Mouse G300

The Logitech Gaming Mouse G300 is the perfect first-person shooter gaming mouse for casual players looking for better performance than they'd get out of a standard—out of the box—computer mouse.

Customizable lighting. Polls up to 1,000Hz. On-board memory. Ambidextrous. Nine programmable buttons. Mouse sensitivity can go up to 2,500dpi. Supports up to three game profiles. Great for first-person shooter players on a budget

Configuration software fairly basic compared to others. Mouse feels a little light and hollow

Logitech Gaming Mouse G300

We've seen countless mice scurry through our labs over the years, and we can say with confidence that it's hard nowadays to innovate on the venerable mouse pointer. What makes mice different, apart from their feel, is the feature list. Too often,...

Comfortable ambidextrous design ; Nine programmable buttons ; Can store three swappable profiles

Initially buggy software ; A bit short, measured front to back, relative to its width

The G300 is a fine wired gaming mouse with a slick design at a reasonable price. Our main quibble: Its optional-but-crucial software was (at least at first) a little balky.

Logitech G300 Gaming Mouse Review

There are many gaming mice on the market that sell for well over $60, but Logitech delivers an option at a mere $40 that it believes will cater to a huge number of gamers out there. It features a small, light design, a total of nine completely...

The announcement of Logitech's G300 came a mere week after SteelSeries announced its $90 Sensei - but despite that, I found myself excited. Why? Because while SteelSeries' offering was catering to the hardcore gamer, Logitech had a product that proved...

Logitech G300 "Ambidextrous" Gaming Mouse Review →

The highly-programmable G300 retains major staples of gaming mice while lowering the cost of entry by $10. Palm grip mousers with large hands will find it a bit small, but those with claw grips should feel right at home. Also, lefties are finally...

Ambidextrous design finally acknowledges lefties ; Works with claw grip ; Top-sided G-buttons mean everything is in reach ; Application-specific extensive macro creation with drivers ; Onboard memory stores three simple profiles for portability ;...

Too small for some palm grip gamers ; No side scrolling for extra buttons ; Lacks dedicated DPI indicator lights ; Macros can't be created on the fly

Comfortable & cheap

Still going strong, it's not a mouse for either of our gaming rigs but it's been used on some of the other computers in the house, it works well and feels comfortable in the hand even when you use it for several hours.

Comfortable, grip, extra buttons, utility

lightweight, weight not adjustible (for a cheap mouse who cares though!)

Great mouse for the price

As a leftie who does all my gaming on the PC, it is often hard for me to find a good ambidextrous multi-button mouse ; This thing works great for what it does, and the price point can't be beat. I haven't really messed around too much with the button...

The mouse is light, but I got used to it quick. As for the button profiles, if you want to use the thumb buttons on the right side, you'll have to mess with the profiles, since the default setting have those as Ctrl-c and ctrl-v for copy-pasting. So if...

Does the job, looks cool doing it.

Easy to use ; Feels comfortable ; Decent size ; Looks cool with the mode lights (lots of colors) ; Plenty of options for the button setup

A bit on the light side. Used a heaver weighted mouse for a long time ; The software takes a little bit to get used to, but once learned, you'll be setting up modes the way you want them in no time

Logitech mouse

2500 DPI is great for gaming applications and even drawing. Cable length is perfect, and design is ergonomic. Overall a reasonably priced mouse

Excellent Mouse

I like the mouse a lot. It's worth the 40$. I love the program and how its user friendly. I love the sides that light up and how you can change the color and how you can change the DPI. The only problem I have with it is its a bit light and the...

The size ; The red bottom ; The program ; Location of the Hot Keys ; Sides light up ; Changeable DPI

It's a bit light ; the program
