Logitech LX 8 Cordless Laser Mouse

By (bayreviews.com)

My old Microsoft wireless mouse started acting up lately. It would scroll down or to the right on its own while I would be in the middle of doing something. I finally got fed up and replaced it with this new Logitech LX 8 Cordless Laser mouse.

Has zoom wheel, soft rubber grip, and scrolling wheel

The right button can sometimes be pressed accidently. Out of the box settings are a little rusty. No software CD included - have to download

Very good mouse for the price and has nice features too.

Great Mouse

By Kevin (newegg.com)

My previous Logitech mice, models MX700 and MX900, were a pain in the neck. Too much hardware, remembering to place them in the charger, etc. That's why I bought the LX8 -- it's been over a year and I've only had to change the batteries twice. As an aside...

Feels great even to a left-hander, tracks well, RF USB interface works great, and it runs on AA batteries. No need to sit the mouse or its battery pack in a charger -- just change batteries every six months or so. Less hardware = better

The software really doesn't track the battery condition -- it says "good" right up until the batteries drops dead. And the side buttons can be annoying, but you can disable them with the included software, as I immediately did

Small

By Trd_Brglr (newegg.com)

Don't buy this mouse if you have large hands you will get cramps if you use it for too long.

Works well and has long battery life

A little uncomfortable due to its ambidextrous design. Also, it is a little small for my large hands
