Logitech Wireless Mouse M560

The Logitech Wireless Mouse M560 is a highly customizable wireless mouse that costs a little too much, considering its build quality.

Modern design. Logitech unifying receiver syncs multiple Logitech peripherals. Every button can be customized. Chrome extension for smoother scrolling available

Matte coating gets dirty easily. Design isn't comfortable for long-term use. Plastic build feels cheap. Smooth scrolling sometimes enlarges Web pages

The Logitech Wireless Mouse M560 is an extremely customizable wireless mouse, right down to the scroll wheel. But it loses a few points due to its finicky scroll wheel and build quality. It doesn't beat out our Editors' Choice, the Logitech Marathon...

The Logitech M560 is a stylish and affordable mouse for Windows users. Most importantly it offers excellent functionality from its customisable built-in buttons and scroll wheel.

Logitech M560 Wireless Mouse Review

Today we are going to look at one of Logitech's latest mice, the M560. Unlike many of the mice that pass through our labs this is not a gaming model. It has been designed for those who want a wirele...

Windows 8 function buttons ; Solidly put together ; Tiny wireless receiver ; Easily portable ; Innovative scroll wheel

Not particularly cheap

KitGuru says: An excellent mouse which is ideal for those who travel frequently.

Good mouse.

Other than the issues with hitting both left and right buttons on the mouse at once, there isn't anything undesirable about this mouse. The unit looked brand new. I've read many comments on logitechs RF wireless devices skipping out or dropping from...

Great range on RF receiver, very good battery life. Comfortable size for use by someone with larger hands

The two main buttons on the mouse seem to click simultaneously due to the plastic of the mouse body top splitting fairly close to the end (front) of the mouse

Not like previous Logitech mice

Bought this as a replacement when my venerable M510 broke down while I was in Europe -- big mistake. It looks very similar save for the square button near the wheel, but it doesn't work the same at all. The scroll wheel is not merely difficult to press...

Only needs one battery ; Looks nice

Mouse wheel does not act as a middle button ; Buttons poorly configured by default ; Some of the buttons are loud ; Not compatible with Linux except for the most basic functions

Scroll Wheel cannot be configured as "middle" button

I probably would have liked this mouse had it not been for the middle button issue. These were on sale at a large box store, so I purchased two of them, otherwise I would have purchased them at Newegg. I took them back when I discovered the design flaw.

Scroll wheel is smooth when in the smooth scroll configuration. Overall size is convenient for both desktop and for taking on the road with laptop

The scroll wheel cannot be configured as a middle button (as every other mouse including Logitech is capable). You can configure the button behind the scroll wheel to be a middle button, but unless this is the only mouse you ever use, this is difficult...

Meh.

Bought this to replace an older Logitech mouse that had seen better days. The old mouse used two AA batteries and had more heft to it and smoother scrolling. It also was plug and play.

I like the shape. Small receiver can be stored inside mouse. Sliding on off switch

Lighter than I prefer. Windows 8 ready, I use W7 and had to install, un-install, MSconfig restart, re-install to finally get the downloaded software working properly to use all the buttons. PITA

Worst mouse EVER! m560 Mouse

it's wireless and that it does well

Over scrolls and scroll bounces. Too wide so you constantly hit the right mouse button.. It's just a badly designed mouse
