Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse review

The wired mouse for the claw-grip gamer that knows what they want

Weight customization and surface customization are cool/practical features ; Responsive, versatile mouse suitable for myriad uses ; Great for claw-grip style of gaming

Is 12,000 dpi really necessary ; Left-click is a bit too close to the dpi shift keys ; Thumb rest doesn't jive well for palm-grip users

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a solid gaming mouse that has some added quirks like a maximum dpi of 12,000, custom surface mapping, and five removable 3.6g weights that may - or may not - be of interest to you. Regardless, it's versatile enough to...

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable

As someone who works on a computer all day and then plays video games when time permits, it is safe to say I use a mouse a lot. For years I have favoured the Logitech Performance MX, it's a big mouse that I find very comfortable and it's more than...

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a another strong Gaming mouse from Logitech, although I have to admit it isn’t quite as good as I thought it was going to be, maybe I was expecting a little to much. Don’t get me wrong the G502 is a very good Gaming...

Logitech Proteus Core G502 Gaming Mouse review

The modern gaming mouse market is a diverse one, from ambidextrous, cut back and clean looking mice, to those festooned with buttons, bells whistles to look like something created in a future space ra...

Nice mouse! Really comfortable.

Over all, this is a nice mouse for gaming. I use it for World of Warcraft. Comfortable and smooth operation.

Love the fit, extra buttons are easier to access. Works on the surface (plywood desktop) without skipping. Easy to set up. The weights to balance it are great! The blue lights match my blue back-lit keyboard

The wheel, takes some real getting used to. It runs away with the slightest roll. The wheel click is a little hard, making it a toss-up sometimes between whether it will roll, click, both or neither

Logitech 910-004074

Mouse feels really good, and I was able to grab one on sale. No problems yet

It came in a box with a different serial number not matching the serial number on the actual mouse, but the box was sealed when it arrived. Hopefully this will not cause problems in the future if I need to RMA

I like it okay

Pressing the Shift to lower dpi for sniping would be great, as it is it seems worse than useless. Gaming software hasn't seemed to detect my Logitech headset and isn't intuitive. I can't understand why I can't set the shift key to use any setting I...

Adjustable weight, 12000dpi, sexy

Braided cable has a fray and is oddly hard where it enters the mouse, like solder ran down the cable - not sure why it's frayed out of the box but I think this is what killed my G500, as it works perfectly or not at all depending on the angle of the...

It's all PRO's with this mouse.

With this product it's all PRO's for me. The only CON I read about this product consistently was the middle wheel. Personally I love the wheel. It's large enough. It's not too light and not too heavy of a feel to it. If you have liked Logitech mice,...

LOGITECH G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse

Great mouse for everyday computing. I do a lot of clicking and this seems to the job just right. I wanted adjustable weight and a high dpi than the average mouse

Not really a con, but the scroll wheel is metal. Tends to get a bit cold and "slippery" when it's cold
