Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse review

The wired mouse for the claw-grip gamer that knows what they want

Weight customization and surface customization are cool/practical features ; Responsive, versatile mouse suitable for myriad uses ; Great for claw-grip style of gaming

Is 12,000 dpi really necessary ; Left-click is a bit too close to the dpi shift keys ; Thumb rest doesn't jive well for palm-grip users

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a solid gaming mouse that has some added quirks like a maximum dpi of 12,000, custom surface mapping, and five removable 3.6g weights that may - or may not - be of interest to you. Regardless, it's versatile enough to...

Logitech G502 Proteus Core review: Breaking the DPI barrier - The Times of India

Here's our review of Logitech G502 Proteus Core mouse, which has the highest DPI in the world and is characterized by sleek, modern looks.

1. Superb design and fantastic ergonomics ; 2. State-of-the-art 12,000dpi all-surface sensor ; 3. Interchangeable weights

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is one of the best-looking mice out there, with bad boy looks in a futuristic suit packing one of the best sensors in the market today, and the only mouse currently in the market with an operating DPI at 12,000. Highly...

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable

As someone who works on a computer all day and then plays video games when time permits, it is safe to say I use a mouse a lot. For years I have favoured the Logitech Performance MX, it's a big mouse that I find very comfortable and it's more than...

Verdict

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a another strong Gaming mouse from Logitech, although I have to admit it isn’t quite as good as I thought it was going to be, maybe I was expecting a little to much. Don’t get me wrong the G502 is a very good Gaming...

Logitech Proteus Core G502 Gaming Mouse review

The modern gaming mouse market is a diverse one, from ambidextrous, cut back and clean looking mice, to those festooned with buttons, bells whistles to look like something created in a future space race. Today we review one that looks like it was...

Bundled customisable weights.

Excellent mouse!

I'd recommend it for those who looking for a right handed gaming mouse that has excellent build quality, great layout and size, and easily customizable software.

Shape: it's size and ergonomic shape fit my medium sized hand extremely well. The layout of the buttons are excellent; it's very well thought out. Scroll-wheel: the ability to change from a free-wheel to normal scroll wheel mode takes some time to...

Shape-it's only optimal for right hand dominant people.

g502

It's all about finding the right mouse pad and holding it right, learn to refrain from pressing down on it during tense moments. Also if your desk is too high you'll lose a lot of control. But I think it's that way for every mouse. EDIT: a few months...

It's a great mouse and the clickers have a great feel and it'll cover everything you need for gaming. When the scroll wheel is unlocked you can get it to spin for 20 seconds and I was addicted to it for a while. For CG:GO I have a bind for every...

It's a wee bit heavy and it's easy to accidentally fly over your target when you need to stop it, so I'd suggest using it with a mouse pad like corsair that gives more control over glide. It doesn't need the weights that come with it and adding 3.5...

UPDATE

I would highly recommend this mouse!

Since my previous review about how it died, Logitech has replaced my mouse. They stood behind their product. It was replaced in a timely manner, and to my satisfaction. I must confess, I MISSED using my G502. It really is a fantastic mouse, which I...

Logitech 910-004074

I wish it was easier to mod, maybe after the warranty is up Ill try modding the wheel out.

most accurate sensor out there, good overall feel (I'm not a fan of the wheel though), the software that comes with it is easy to use, the weights are great.

the wheel could be better, I like there metal/rubberized while found on other models, the right mouse button is easy to accidentally click when resting my hand but thats more my fault.
