Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse review

The wired mouse for the claw-grip gamer that knows what they want

Weight customization and surface customization are cool/practical features ; Responsive, versatile mouse suitable for myriad uses ; Great for claw-grip style of gaming

Is 12,000 dpi really necessary? ; Left-click is a bit too close to the dpi shift keys ; Thumb rest doesn't jive well for palm-grip users

For $79.99 (£69.99) the price is right for this overhauled gaming mouse and is recommended for the stubborn gamer that knows exactly what they like.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable

As someone who works on a computer all day and then plays video games when time permits, it is safe to say I use a mouse a lot. For years I have favoured the Logitech Performance MX, it's a big mouse that I find very comfortable and it's more than...

The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a another strong Gaming mouse from Logitech, although I have to admit it isn’t quite as good as I thought it was going to be, maybe I was expecting a little to much. Don’t get me wrong the G502 is a very good Gaming...

Solid mouse

Other than the fit for me personally, this mouse is amazing. It's held up extremely well, has tons of buttons, automatic profiles for games.

Lots of buttons ; Good fit ; Tons of features

Slightly heavier than the deathadder ; Relatively small ; The side "grips" are rough and uncomfortable, but have worn away with time ; It's easy to click the free-floating scroll wheel sideways when you just try to middle mouse click

Scroll wheel has issues

Lots of buttons. Gaming software is mostly useful

1. Biggest issue was the scroll wheel. It floats and tends to jerk back a little after you finish scrolling. For example, scroll down a web page, let go, and the web page jumps back up a little. Even a bigger issue is just moving the mouse up and down...

Great Mouse for a Good Price

The mouse feels great, looks great, and responds great. The weight set is a great added bonus if you're like me and use a keyboard tray that the mouse can slide down if there isn't enough weight in it ; I highly recommend this mouse for any PC gamers

Price is high, but for the quality you get it's completely worth it

Good Mouse, but WAY too small

I am giving this 4 stars because it is an awesome product, but its just way t small for me. My pinky has no where to rest and ended up cramping my whole hand after an hour of BF4. The mouse was just unusable for me. But I have giant hands, and use palm...

Everything! Tune-able weight, solid build quality, awesome logitech product

WAY too small and uncomfortable for me (SUBJECTIVE)

So far I love this mouse!

Buy this mouse just don't buy it from Newegg

I love this mouse! It is my first actual "gaming" mouse. I've noticed a huge difference in playing the games that I play and the features of this mouse geared directly towards games

See my review on the MSI GS70 Stealth Pro-096 and the cons that I have listed there
