Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse review

The wired mouse for the claw-grip gamer that knows what they want

Weight customization and surface customization are cool/practical features ; Responsive, versatile mouse suitable for myriad uses ; Great for claw-grip style of gaming

Is 12,000 dpi really necessary ; Left-click is a bit too close to the dpi shift keys ; Thumb rest doesn't jive well for palm-grip users

beauty mouse!

when they say tunable, they mean it. You can tune the mouse to any surface in the software. You can also choose if you want your mouse wheel moving loose(meaning when you scroll, a webpage may bob up and down due to the looseness of the wheel) or you...

don't like the fact that where your page back and forth buttons are is where the dpi up and down buttons are. I am just used to having dpi buttons up by the scroll wheel. I don't care for the leds on the mouse. Looks nice but useless to me

For when it worked, it was a great mouse

Broke on second day of use, after drivers stopped working. The mouse ceased to function

Best Mouse I have owned!

I upgraded from an older Razer DeathAdder and I truly don't think I could go back!

This mouse is awesome! I have large hands and it fits me well. I don't find myself accidentally hitting any of the extra buttons, though they are all easy to click. The adjustable weights are awesome

None, really! Its a great mouse

Great Sensor, Mice Shape Not For Me

I got this mouse for free RMAing a discontinued G9X laser mouse. The performance of this mouse is nothing to laugh at, the tracking is buttery smooth and eliminates the bulk of my "phantom cursors" seen with other competing products (my Razer...

Great sensor, best I've had with very little jitter and skipping ; Soft cable (reduces drag and resistance when you move the mice) ; Excellent, reliable customer service (Kudos to Logitech Cristina)

Glossy plastic used in construction ; Cable fraying on day one ; Does not cater to all hands

fell in love

I've tried pushing in the weights so that the cover can close securely but still no good. Fortunately, I actually like it best without added weights. The sensor really is impeccable too, can't tell the difference between deathadder and g502. I have...

perfect fit for my hands, extremely comfortable ; all buttons are tactile ; good finish ; rubber sides feels great ; software is intuitive and well done

pricey ; some reason when i put in all the weights, the plastic cover for the bottom doesn't close snuggly as compared to if it's empty

Great mouse

Some people mentioned the right click when mouse is dropped. Also this does happen, it requires substantial amount of force applied. So this would not happen normally. I used all of the weights supplied with the mouse, and it is still very easy to...

Nice sensor, mouse fits in the hand very comfortably. I have yet to hit any buttons by accident ; I have moderately large hands and I can very comfortably press 3 buttons on the side of the mouse. Also it is unlikely you would press them by accident

All in all I'm glad I did buy this mouse. I liked it enough, I bought my husband one!

I was replacing an old weighted gaming mouse. Been through probably 4 and kept going back to the old Logitech. I didn't have much hopes for this one, but saw it was weighted and thought what the hay. Worst that can happen is it sucks. I was happily...

If you use to many weights, the magnetic closing will not work well. This is an OK con as it is work aroundable

Great Mouse

This mouse is fantastic! Great response dpi selector is precise and allows on the fly changes. I upgraded from a Logitech Mx518 and happy with the switch!

Great feels, fantastic weight, smooth surface, sniper button! The wheel has a free spin mode as well as a locked selected scroll. The button underneath the wheel controls the free wheel mode

Needs 2 more programmable buttons behind sniper button to make it perfect

Great No Frills PSU

Ok so I've had this mouse for a few days now, and I'm beginning to hate it because I use the middle mouse click to open a new tab when I click on a link. HOWEVER I CAN'T BECAUSE WHENEVER I TRY TO USE MIDDLE MOUSE CLICK, IT SCROLLS DOWN! No matter how...

Looks epic ; Feels epic ; Great laser and super smooth tracking
