Logitech Touch Mouse T620

With Windows 8's overwhelming emphasis on touch-based navigation, it only makes sense that there's been an increase in mice designed to accommodate users lacking systems with touch screens or who simply don't feel like constantly reaching over their...

Refined design. Offers greater gesture support than others in its class. Unifying receiver frees USB ports and can be stored in underside. Can run on either one or two batteries

Pricey. Low profile. Non-rechargeable. No Bluetooth connectivity. No pinch-zoom capability

Although it's more expensive than most other Windows 8-ready mice and can be mildly uncomfortable to hold for an extended period of time, the attractively-designed Logitech Touch Mouse T620's wide-ranging gesture control functionality, Windows 8...

Logitech T620 touch mouse review

Style, long battery life, flexible battery options, unified dongle, good mouse overall

Touch is a bit of a lottery, expensive

Touch issues aside, the Logitech T620 is a nice piece of hardware. At £60, it's hardly cheap, and that might be a problem for some. With that said, take a look around and you'll be able to find it for a bit less - Amazon, for example, has it for £45....

Logitech t620 Touch Mouse review

Logitech's drivers must be downloaded to enable gestures on the Logitech t620 Touch Mouse – Windows 8 will do this automatically when the mouse is connected. It uses Logitech's wireless Unifying receiver, which supports up to six devices on the same...

If you like using touch mouse gestures to control Windows 8 this is as good an option as any. We're not convinced, however, and found it as uncomfortable and clumsy as any of its competitors. Also, a touch mouse is useless for gamers.

Save your money

Unless I just happened to receive a ''lemon'' this is the worst new tech product I have ever purchased. Until now I have been a strong supporter of new tech products. This mouse is unpredictable. It works fine at times, just long enough to give me...

Works as advertised

I have used this mouse with Windows 8 on a laptop, a desktop and with a Chromebook. It took some adjustment as I was putting far too much force on the mouse touch surface and the performance was terrible. When I was more gentle, the performance...

Take some getting used to

The switch application gesture doesn't work like alt+tab. It only switches between Win8 apps, the desktop itself is included in that. I didn't list this as a con cause its more of an issue with Win8 than the mouse. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I...

Does everything advertised and the shortcuts are nice in Windows 8, Specially the start screen, desktop, and charms gestures. They also allow you to customize the gestures a bit if you don't like the default ones ; Also if you scroll with a fast flick...

Take a bit to get used to and shortcuts can be a little touchy ; For instance, it only has one button to click and the touch surface senses which side it is on. For a primary click no problem but for a secondary click you have to raise your primary...
