Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse

The Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse is great for basic use, and feels great, but the dearth of Web browsing customization options is disappointing.

Tiny, portable design. Different colors available. Ambidextrous support. Customizable button

Windows button is hard to reach. Limited click wheel button functionality for Web browsing

The best portable mouse should be as small as it is functional, and Microsoft's Sculpt Mobile Mouse is both. It doesn't have any particularly exciting features like our Editors' Choice, the Microsoft Touch Mouse, though it's cheaper by comparison. Its...

Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse

This sleek mouse lets Windows 8 users quickly return to the Start screen.

Sleek compact design; Soft-touch sides provide solid grip; Windows 8 button functionality; USB compatibility; Smooth and responsive performance

Top is a fingerprint magnet

Click to EnlargeThough there are plenty of ways to access the Windows 8 Start Screen using just one action, the Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Mouse provides a compelling option for users who don't want to teach for the keyboard or screen. For under $30, the...

Microsoft breeds new generation of Windows 8-compatible mice

Meet the second generation of rodents optimized for Windows 8: the Sculpt Mobile Mouse and the Sculpt Comfort Mouse.

Small and mobile ; Comfotable for left and right-handed ; Usable on most surfaces

Uncomfortable for larger hands ; Uses up a USB port

Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse

The Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse is a compact wireless mouse that connects via Bluetooth and has been designed with the touch-centric tiled user interface of in mind. To that effect, it features a touch-sensitive strip in lieu of a traditional scroll...

Ambidextrous design. Bluetooth connectivity saves up USB ports. Mac compatible. Bluetrack technology yields smooth tracking

With its ergonomic, ambidextrous design and compatibility with Windows and Mac operating systems alike, the Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse is a versatile choice for lefties and righties alike regardless of which operating system they use.

Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Keyboard

As the not-so-distant relative of the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Keyboard, the Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Keyboard (Sculpt Mobile) ($49.99 direct) has plenty in common with its cousin, including a distinctive curvy design and Windows 8 hotkeys. But you...

Portable thin and light design. Dongle-free Bluetooth connectivity. Great battery life

Low profile isn't ergonomically sound. Glossy face prone to smudging. Non-rechargeable batteries. Keys aren't backlit

While the Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Keyboard is preferable to an onscreen keyboard, its portable design and Windows 8 hotkeys don't make up for the fact that its shallow profile makes for a somewhat uncomfortable typing experience.

Solid Bluetooth mouse

I bought this to go along with a Transformer T100TA and it works great. I've had no problem connecting with blue tooth. The size is good for toting along with me, which was the general idea when I got it. The right and left clicks work, the scrolling...

Microsoft L2 Touch Mouse

Easy to connect, works on most surfaces

Glitchy touch features. Don't really get the haptic feedback, sort of prevents you from scrolling quickly or more than a click at a time. This was the feature that sold this mouse for me, and I was incredibly disappointed with the actual product
