Microsoft Arc Mouse

Ah, the fashion mouse. You know the one: It's designed by the industrial design team of the moment, and it not only lets you move your PC's cursor but also tells everyone that you care about Design (you know, with a capital D). Unfortunately, what this...

Pretty design and incredibly compact size. Comes with a travel pouch

Very uncomfortable shape. Odd sensor placement makes cursor control tricky

Microsoft seems to have solved the connectivity issues that plagued its previous 2.4GHz wireless peripherals, but this little guy is just too uncomfortable for us to recommend, despite its sexy design.

Swiftpoint mouse review

It's no secret that one of our major gripes with some of today's laptops are their wonky and uncomfortable touchpads, and well, apparently Swiftpoint understands the pain. No, that tiny, oddly shaped optical mouse that your eyes keep gravitating...

Really innovative design ; Strong mobile substitute for touchpads ; Awesome tilt scrolling capability

No software for customizing buttons or tricks ; USB dongle blocks ports charging ; A bit expensive

Microsoft Arc Keyboard hands-on

Microsoft's Best Buy-exclusive Arc Keyboard still won't be hitting stores for another couple of weeks (February 21st, to be specific), but we were lucky enough to get our hands on one a little early, and figured we'd share a few impressions with you,...

Sleek, compact design ; Magnetic storage for USB receiver ; Great for a non-primary PC

A bit too small for full-time use ; Arrow keys replaced by single d-pad key ; Somewhat pricey

Microsoft Arc Mouse

The Microsoft Arc Mouse's high quality propels it to the head of the travel mouse pack.

Full-size mouse that folds smaller than most notebook mice. Virtually weightless. Extra tiny receiver can stow beneath mouse when not in use. Sharp precision

Relies on AAA batteries with no recharge option. Cannot be used when hinge is folded

CM Storm Xornet Optical Gaming Mouse

Excellent functionality for a value-priced mouse ; Omron micro-switches guaranteed for 5,000,000 clicks ; 2000 DPI / 2600 FPS optical sensor ; 1000 Hz / 1.0 ms USB 2.0 polling rate ; Teflon feet glide effortlessly over gaming surfaces

No macro software or keybind instructions

Not everyone expects a mouse to deliver everything including the kitchen sink, but it's nice to know Cooler Master has touched on the most important functions with their CM Storm Xornet mouse. This gaming mouse performs exceptionally well, and aside...

Swiftpoint Micro Mouse

The SwiftPoint mouse arrived in a relatively small box focused on displaying its unique design in plain view, while highlighting the feature set in the book type cover. The design is appealing and elegant. If it weren't for the square inches needed for...

Small and lightweight ; USB Dock, SmartTouch, SlideScroll, RapidCharge, Customizable 'up ; Pen-like grip ; No software ; Works with Ubuntu and possibly other mature Linux distributions ; Additional parking accessories available

No MMB ; Can't use left and right mouse button concurrently ; Docking with the USB dock is generally impossible with vertical USB ports ; Right hand design only

After passing the SwiftPoint mouse around the office it's not for everybody. Some will reject it because it looks weird, and it feels funny. Others won't work with it long enough to find their comfort grip. Left handers may find a way to use it, but...

Swiftpoint Mouse For Laptops

If you own a laptop, you probably know what a pain it can be to use a trackpad or a nub. Sure, it works in a pinch, but you can't do much more on it than simple things. Ever played a game with a trackpad? Enter Swiftpoint with a mouse that brings true...

Here is where we will ding Swiftpoint a bit. The cost of the Swiftpoint Mouse is pretty high at $70 (Amazon Link). While the features it packs in are impressive, most laptop users will balk at spending this kind of money on an input device they might...
