Kensington Orbit Trackball with Scroll Ring

If you're tired of mouse-related wrist injuries but don't like trackballs because of the lack of a scroll wheel, then the Orbit Trackball makes a lot of sense at a surprisingly acceptable price.

Integrated scroll wheel works really well ; Includes wrist rest ; Ball can be juggled around for inspiration

Wrist rest may over-extend fingers ; Scroll wheel feels a little loose ; Still tethered by a cable

Trackballs remain a niche product, partly due to the different set of mousing skills they supply, partly due to the price premium that most trackballs command and partly due to the lack of feature parity with even the cheapest mice. The Kensington...

Missing back navigation button

This trackball works great other than missing the back and forward buttons that are used a lot by me. The construction is good and the scroll ring was easy to get used to and has a smooth action.

Great Trackball

I've been looking for a replacement to my old logitech trackball (my particular version is no longer made) and this is an excellent replacement. Scroll ring and ball is quite smooth. Easy to clean. The soft rubber wrist rest is a nice feature. Very...

Best scroll control for parsing through data!

If you are looking for a mouse that delivers amazing scroll speed and control, this is the one for you. Looking at large amount of packet info on WireShark, DONE! LOVE IT!

Price is reasonable

Need more refinement of the tracking response and accuracy but the price is reasonable for its quality and performace.

Worth The Money

Worked very well but was just to light for a man. For kids or a woman would work just fine. Great deal for them.

pretty good

I have been using trackballs for years, and I really like the scroll ring, thought I would hate it. Not quite as nice as the Trackball Explorer I had for years, but it isn't ridiculously priced like the Explorer was

simple and works, reasonably priced

haven't found any yet (month and half of daily use)

Very nice for the money. :)

I've been using trackballs since the late 80s because I've hated using a mouse. The Microsoft Trackball Explorer was always my favorite but, after my last one died, I needed to replace it with something different because they no longer make them. I...

Comfortable, Love the Scroll Wheel, Works just as well on PC and Mac

Innards tend to get gunked up quicker then other trackballs that I've used. Easy to clean, though, so this is a minor complaint

Good value

I was shopping for a replacement for my Microsoft Trackball Explorer (RIP), and this one seemed to come the closest. I'm satisfied with everything except for the hard click sound the buttons make. It makes me feel like I need to press the button down...
