Kensington Orbit Trackball with Scroll Ring

If you're tired of mouse-related wrist injuries but don't like trackballs because of the lack of a scroll wheel, then the Orbit Trackball makes a lot of sense at a surprisingly acceptable price.

Integrated scroll wheel works really well ; Includes wrist rest ; Ball can be juggled around for inspiration

Wrist rest may over-extend fingers ; Scroll wheel feels a little loose ; Still tethered by a cable

Trackballs remain a niche product, partly due to the different set of mousing skills they supply, partly due to the price premium that most trackballs command and partly due to the lack of feature parity with even the cheapest mice. The Kensington...

Good product, Wasn't right for me though.

This product is not for everyone! It will take some time to get used to! If you're at a desk, you might find it suits your needs better. Unless your arm is supported during use, you might not like it. I suggest the Logitech wired or wireless trackball...

Very well built and sturdy! 5 year warranty

This product is not for everyone. I have a logitech trackball with the ball on the side and I find that works better for me as I stand while i use it and my arm is not flat on the surface. I find that the ball glides past where i need it to go when I...

Not Good

It's also pretty objectively ugly. My other peripherals are ashamed.

Included wrist rest is a nice(comfortable) feature i guess

Trackball sits nicely in bowl, but can be lifted about a centimeter up and shaken around. Also feels like it needs about a year of use to feel smooth. Scroll ring isn't tall enough, is loose and cheap feeling, and the plastic frame on either side gets...

Kensington K72337US

I have arthritis and trigger fingers. It puts a lot less stress on the hands and worked with either hand. Unfortunately, the left button kept clicking even with my hands off the trackball. Then the left button stopped working entirely. It started to...

It's a lot easier on the hands than a mouse and is easy to use with either hand

It lasted a month

Kensington K72337US

Trackball movement is very smooth (clean off any dust from the ball before you first use it); scroll wheel feels really natural; detachable rubber-like wrist rest is comfortable

Buttons feel "chunky" in that I have to apply a little more pressure than other mice. I prefer buttons that respond to a lighter touch. Their "click" seems almost loud in comparison to other devices

Currently my go-to trackball mouse

If you like making use of more then two buttons on a mouse you will be out of luck.

I have put 3 years of heavy use on this mouse and it is still functioning smoothly. Scroll wheel is a little odd to get use to but definitely comes in handy.I'm able to scroll with my ring finger while my thumb and pinky remain on the buttons AND my...

None. price was very fair for what I got out of it
