Razer Taipan

Any lefty knows that this is a world made for the right-handed. From automobile gear-shifts to can-openers and scissors, it's tough to find a hands-on experience that's southpaw-friendly. This is especially true of gaming mice, where ergonomic features...

Ambidextrous design. Comfortable grips. Customization and syncing with Razer Synapse 2.0

Uncomfortable thumb-buttons. Chassis is a bit too low and narrow

The Razer Taipan is a gaming mouse for both the right- and left-handed gamer. It's light on features, but offers solid performance.

Low profile, symmetrical design gives users balance, comfort and button choices

Button options ; Mouse wheel ; Synapse software

Without a doubt the WORST mouse I've ever owned

I bought this thing because I was under the false impression that RAZER was a good company. After owning this for a month, I've had it fail on me dozens of times - sometimes the laser just doesn't track in certain directions, or lags out like crazy....

It's pretty ; It feels nice

It doesn't work ; It requires an Internet connection to work, and comes with a bloated driver package with a ToS that reads like Spyware

RAZER Taipan Black 9 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Dual Sensor 8200 dpi Mouse

Bought this refurbed for my daughter. So far, so good. It even came with the Razer stickers

It would have been nice if you could make it change colors

A great mouse, for more than just gaming!

Got this mouse to replace an aging copperhead. Part of my choice was that I like to be able to change which hand I use the mouse with to relieve stress in my neck, so it being ambidextrous was important to me. I also have long fingers, so having a...

horrible customization

returning this immediately as no ability to set specific DPI to a button is a deal breaker, a major oversight in the synapse software. but i am sure razer gave it the seal of approval as is anyway. will probably be my last razer purchase as they seem...

ergonomic shape and overall comfort is good

the synapse software is major let down. as bad as the lachesis software is, it offers more functionality. the on-the-fly sensitivity actually works, the the DPI increments are units of 50 not 100 (synapse), can bind a button to a specific DPI not this...
