Razer Taipan

Any lefty knows that this is a world made for the right-handed. From automobile gear-shifts to can-openers and scissors, it's tough to find a hands-on experience that's southpaw-friendly. This is especially true of gaming mice, where ergonomic features...

Ambidextrous design. Comfortable grips. Customization and syncing with Razer Synapse 2.0

Uncomfortable thumb-buttons. Chassis is a bit too low and narrow

The Razer Taipan is a gaming mouse for both the right- and left-handed gamer. It's light on features, but offers solid performance.

Review: Razer Taipan mouse

Low profile, symmetrical design gives users balance, comfort and button choices

Button options ; Mouse wheel ; Synapse software

LED options ; Rubber on sides ; Thumb buttons require hand shift

The list of gaming devices is growing larger with each passing day. A large number of companies have entered the gaming input arena, already containing some well-known names in the industry. Many PC gamers know one such name, Razer, as the go-to comp

Razer Taipan review

An expensive no-frills ambidextrous gaming mouse

Consumer review by:

The extra dpi is worth it. max dpi crew checkin in.

I have always loved razer peripherals. I came from the mamba recently when it broke after a year and a half. So I purchased the Taipan for the higher dpi. It is what you would expect from a precision piece of equipment

I do feel the thumb buttons could have gone in the groove area where your thumb naturally sits for better ergonomics and easier access for voice applications

Great Ambidextrous Mouse

This is likely my favorite mouse for the price. Not only is it responsive on a variety of surfaces (including glass), but it very comfortable to hold, extremely well made and sturdy, and not hard on the eyes. The little vents on the front of the mouse...

Ambidextrous ; Very clean, comfortable design ; Very sturdy and resilient ; Let's face looks amazing

No frills, no real customization

RAZER Tapian

One of the best mouses I have ever owned.

Awesome to use on almost every game! works very well when setting your mouse sensitivity low and then using the DPI turned up to where u need it....and then lowering it a bit to get some nice smooth sniping...also getting awesome smooth movements in...

It can't microwave my hot pockets and pizza bagel

Follow-Up Review

Razer never ever contacted me back, even after a couple more attempts to get an RMA going on a product that I bought directly from them. Be careful, and please research before getting this!

Precision, when it works ; Mouse wheel, again when it works ; Paid thirty 5 for it on sale

Collecting dust, replaced it with a mionix 3200 that works just as well, and cost a fraction of the msrp of this one (I think I paid $2 0 from the egg)

Reviewing The Razer

Overall, this mouse is one of the better mouses I've tried! I've been an owner of these mouses: →Razer DeathAdder 2013 →Razer Deathadder Black Edition →Razer Diamondback 1600 DPI Edition (Red) However, this mouse by far has trump over them all! When...

Extremely fast shipping (3 Days) ; Very comfortable design (Grip slips) ; On-the-fly DPI change (View below for more info.) ; Razer Synapse 2.0 supported ; Protected USB Cable (Important for durability) ; Price: $49.99 (Purchased on sale) ; Dual 4G...

Requires Synapse 2.0 for full DPI support ; Heavy compared to other options ; LED's cannot be modified
