Steelseries Kinzu V2 Pro Edition Review

Simple. Basic. Effective.

3600fps optical tracker is brillant; simple and classy looks; nice software; ambidextrous

Players with long fingers or large palms might have problem using the mouse; expensive for entry-level features; no thumb buttons

But its lightweight and its fantastic optical tracker is so sharp and accurate, I have yet to revert to my regular mouse in the hopes that I will eventually get used to it and continue using it till I can.

SteelSeries Kinzu V2 Pro Edition review

A budget gaming mouse that's customisable and smooth

Cheap ; Comfortable ; Two CPI settings

Not the best gaming mouse out there

SteelSeries Kinzu v2

Like the classic Microsoft Intellimouse, if you're on a budget the Kinzu v2 is a great choice.

Light and simple ; A new price befitting its entry-level nature

SteelSeries Engine needs a polish

A quick jaunt through Serious Sam: HD proved the Kinzu to still hold the SteelSeries DNA, meaning great performance and accuracy. Like the classic Microsoft Intellimouse, if you're on a budget the Kinzu is a great choice.

SteelSeries Kinzu V2 Pro Edition Review

SteelSeries is back with a new Kinzu professional gaming mouse using an optical sensor - it's still small and precise, but can it live up to it's predecessor?

Reliable and precise optical sensor ; Good overall build quality ; Ambidextrous design ; Ideal for FPS

Short on features and accessories ; May be too small and light for some ; Sharp edge ; A little too expensive

This isn’t the first Steelseries product we’ve reviewed here at Vortez, and I certainly hope not the last, as if I can say one thing that’s common to all, it’s that the design ethos remains true throughout their product range and Steelseries stay...

SteelSeries Kinzu V2 Pro Edition Gaming Mouse Review (SE Silver)

We recently looked at the latest addition to SteelSeries range of gaming mice, the Kana, which is designed to bridge the gap between the Sensei and Kinzu. We were very impressed with what it has to offer for the money even though the aesthetic design...

Ambidextrous design ; High performance sensor ; Smooth glide ; Attractive finish

Gloss paint finish ; No foward and back buttons

KitGuru: A good mouse but the Kana offers better value for money.

Review: Steelseries Kinzu V2 Pro Edition

The Steelseries Kinzu V2 mouse may lack all those fnacy features, but it certainly doesn't lack the quality you would expect from Steelseries.

Price ; Great tracking ; Great clicking switches ; On the fly CPI settings

Slick coating ; No steelseries sticker ; Software did not work properly

If you are looking to have great mouse performance but you do not want to break the bank to buy a bunch of features you may or may not use, the Kinzu v2 Pro edition will get you fragging in no time. The excellent sensors and switches more than make up...
