Wacom Bamboo Fun

Drawing Tablet Sharpens Graphics Apps

Directly improves control and results in graphics apps. Pressure-sensitive stylus also wireless and battery-free. Eraser end instantly selects new onscreen tool. Includes wireless, battery-free mouse. Stylish, slim design. Works with Inkwell.

Software bundle good to get started, but includes out-of-date versions.

The bundled mouse is a nice extra, but the movement- and pressure-sensitive stylus will rewire the way amateur graphics editors use Photoshop, Painter, and other applications.

Wacom Bamboo Capture

We've seen the familiar name "Wacom" floating around computer input-device circles for decades, but only with this review did we learn what it signifies. Wacom is a combination of two Japanese words, "wa" (meaning "harmony" or "circle") and "komu"...

Responsive to input with stylus or finger ; Great-value software bundle ; Optional wireless interface

Active area is a bit small ; Stylus lacks digital eraser, and feels uncomfortable with extended use

The Bamboo Capture is a smartly designed, fun-to-use tablet that will please doodlers and photo-imaging pros alike. The software bundle alone is worth much of the price.

Review: Wacom Bamboo Stylus for iPad

Wacom's Bamboo Stylus is one of the pricier touchscreen styluses on the market, but the company isn't simply resting on the laurels of its brand recognition. The Bamboo Stylus is comfortable, well-balanced, and works well for both drawing and writing.

While the Bamboo resembles many of the other rubber-nib tools on the market, once you pick it up, it's obvious how much care and craftsmanship the company has put into this stylus. The pen is perfectly balanced—and I do mean perfectly—in your hand,...

Bamboo Fun

When I think drawing tablets, I think Wacom. I have been using the Graphire series of tablets for many years. This past fall Wacom replaced the Graphire tablet line with the Bamboo Fun line of tablets. (The Graphire BT, or Bluetooth, is still made)....
