Wacom Intuos2 9x12 Tablet

Mice are the most comfortable pointing devices by choice for most people. They're comfortable, ergonomic and extremely easy to handle. But ask any professional graphic designer worth his mettle and he'll tell you how much he prefers a good Wacom tablet...

The tablet installed easily, and is much more stable than older versions of the tablet which caused frequent crashes.

This tablet is excellent for professional graphics applications that require accurate drafting.

worth every penny at this price

I bought this for my wife to use on our old 400mhz Celeron with W98SE. She loves it (she paints as a hobby) and has spent many hours with it already. The software that came with it is excellent also. Con: The mouse that came with it is difficult to use...

Great for presentations!

I have a lot of 36" x 24" engineering drawings. This size (18" x 12") is ideal for reductions, maintaining a rational scale. (I am using an Okidata c9800 (color laser-type printer), which considers this size to be "Tabloid Extra"). It is heavier than...

Product Specifications

The Intuos graphics tablet is pressure-sensitive - it literally feels the slightest pressure of the Intuos Pen on the tablet and reacts. Intuos offers 1, 024 levels of pressure sensitivity - more than any other tablet on the planet. This pressure sensitivity gives you the power to subtly clone out imperfections, gently feather an image, or paint with the nuance and feel of oils. Intuos also comes with Painter Classic, the powerful graphic software that gives you the power to paint and draw with Natural Media and Wacom's PenTools: cool pen-sensitive Photoshop plug-in filters such as the 3D Chisel and Super Putty. With Intuos, you now have the ultimate in control over color, opacity, exposure and line width you need for retouching, masking, illustrating and painting. If your work requires long, sweeping arm movements, or creating full pages at scale, the Intuos 12"x12" may be the right fit for you. Its large active area is tailor-made for both page layout and CAD templates, and is suitable for working in 3D, video or animation. Complete with the ergonomically designed Intuos Pen for computer graphic artists or Lens Cursor for CAD professionals, this tablet features a transparent overlay for holding artwork in place, a programmable menustrip for your favorite keyboard shortcuts, and QuickPoint areas for fast navigation.
