Zalman FPSGun FG1000

We've tested some crazy mice over the years, from ergonomic wonders designed to prevent RSI to dedicated gaming mice shaped like an actual handgun, but the new Zalman FPSGun is one of the oddest-looking designs we've ever tested. We approve of its...

Increased horizontal accuracy seemed to help in shooters. Multiple profiles and mousewheel placed in unique location by thumb

Too small for most people to use. Gain horizontal control at the expense of vertical movement. Poor documentation

Unfortunately, the mouse is much too small to comfortably hold if you have normal-size hands. Because you hold the FPSGun with your hand in a vertical position, the blade of your hand rests on the mousing surface. In order to keep your fingers on the...

Zalman FPSGun FG1000 Mouse Review

Our test of the gun shaped gaming mouse FPSGun FG1000 from Zalman.

Good button set up ; Trigger shooting enhances gaming experience ; Intuitive wrist movement

Getting used to it takes time ; Non-versatile: not suitable to other PC applications ; Lacks precision even after adjustments ; Requires large table space to play ; Looks like a basketball sneaker and not a gun

Zalman FG-1000 FPS Gun review

A gaming mouse revision that's not just a gimmick? Crazy talk…

Totally different ; Accurate lateral movement

Limited configurations ; A little too short

Yes, we’re stunned. This is a surprisingly effective attempt at creating a new style of controller, and certainly worth a look.

Zalman FPSGUN FG1000

Zalman's first foray into peripherals is a gaming mouse with a difference. Gripping the rear pillar like a joystick, your index finger rests on what would be the left button in a conventional mouse. Plug it in and, in achingly teenage fashion, the...

Zalman FPSGUN FG-1000 Gun Style Gaming Mouse

A new way of fragging.

Zalman is famous enough for its quality PC cooling and liquid cooling devices as well as fans, modding accessories, PC enclosures, gaming headphones, and even 3D monitors. But today we are going to review a "ballon d'essai" of quite a different domain....

Large hand small mouse, By LWtheFISH

It would be nice if they made a larger version or maybe and extender for it, or should I say taller version. Also the cord needs to be softer so it doesn't want to pull so much

I like the lay,not to many button from ****,to get in the way. I haven't broken anything like so many

Just way to small, I have extra large hands so this thing is a cramp after just a game or to and to top it off I have Rynards in that hand so. Also the cord is stiff making it want to pull all the time

(i have to think here) ; it does seem like it could be a good design

sigh ; way to small ; broken as soon as i used it ; way to low dpi ; felt really cheap

weird

Wanted to try something new. Not really for me

Very odd to use, I just couldn't get used to it. Had to go back to my gaming mouse

Interesting concept, but bad execution.

I bought this to try a mouse with a different hand position (because repetitive stress injury is bad) and I think that's a worthy goal and I'm happy Zalman tried to do it

Unfortunately, this product is cheaply constructed and very mediocre. The "grip" is not large enough to accommodate my hands comfortably (I generally wear a men's large glove, so it's not like they're freakishly big). It's probably hard to get a design...
