Great MP3 Player

This mp3 player has been very durable. I have used it for almost 2 years without any problems.

Lightweight, great for exercise, easy interface. I use the Zen for running and biking on a daily basis. The battery is pretty good and lasts a long time, 2 - 3 weeks @ 45 min 4 - 5 times week

Interface is a bit clumsy. Trying to set the time is pain to figure out. To fully charge the battery you have to leave it plugged in for 12 hours

SD card problems... Read before you buy.

don't forget you need a modem / router that's putting out wireless-n to get the benefits of the higher speeds.

Nice player. Small size

This is from Creative's site ; Note - As the SD card is accessed as a removable drive, advanced features of the player such as; playlists, searching by artist, album, etc., will not be available. If you would like to use the advanced features of your...

EXCELLENT player for the price!

Overall, one heck of a good deal for an mp3 player. It's a little old now, but if all you need is a solid mp3/mp4 player with good sound quality and a relatively easy interface, look no further. The price just can't be beat for the quality, and the...

Where to start. I've had this player for almost 2 years now (bought for about 40 bucks more than it is now), and everything still works great. I'm somewhat of an audiophile, and though the sounds quality on this is nothing special, it outperforms most...

Creative software....don't even bother. I updated my firmware with an open-source upgrade that made the player much more useable, and I pretty much only use Windows Explorer to transfer and organize my music. Invest in a good video converter if you...

Pass

Look elsewhere.

It played music, included headphones were sufficiently good

Somewhat poor battery life, easily scratched, stopped working after 6 months, its now living the rest of its existence as a paper weight

Great product

I had received an off brand Mp3 player from another Electronics store, however the interface was horrible and it would freeze on the splash screen so I returned it and bought one of these. So far its fantastic.

Great size. Large screen. 4GB of memory is more songs than I own. Menu navigation is easy and intuitive. Easy to add files

Newegg shipping slower than standard. Ordered on 1/1/09 (yes, I know its a holiday) and it arrived on 1/7/09

Not bad

Was good for a awhile 4gb was more than enough memory imo, wasnt too upset about the memory card problems(although it is VERY easy to put in the firmware, Creative refuses to do it for some reason even though there is over 700 post about it in their...

Great interface, easy to navigate and the video/picture feature is nice, screen is quite large for the size of the total player, and it has a bright clear picture

Started "white screening" on me after about 8-9 months-(turn the player on and theres nothing but a white screen) you can lock it and like the screen turn off then unlock it and it SOMETIMES brings the screen back. The trick has stopped working...

Creative ZEN 2.5" Black 4GB MP3 / MP4 Player

very nice product

The device has a very nice screen display ; I like the expandable memory ; the software that came with is very easy to use ; easily able to convert video format to view on the ZEN player

hard to find accessories menu is a bit confusing

Fairly good player, good price

You have to use Windows Media Player to copy music or your music's ID3 tags will be truncated or stripped. MTP support in Linux is _extremely_ poor: take a look at libmtp & mtpfs for FUSE, or Gnomad.

Very sleek and thin, shiny, vibrant screen, very good battery life. Relatively cheap compared to other players

Mediocre play controls: no on-the-fly custom playlist creation; something you miss if you're used to it. It's fairly locked-down: you can't view text files unless you convert them to thousands of jpegs, you can't edit song metadata or rename files from...

Nice player

A very nice player that you'll be happy you purchased.

I needed something to hold small videos and music on. This fits the bill perfectly. The FM tuner is a nice touch as well. I purchased this when it was on sale here for $68.00. Even at the current price I feel it is well worth the asking price

The headphone cable is used as the FM antenna. Radio fades in and out frequently when the cable is moved around
