Our 19 yr old figured the entire iPod out within a couple of hours and showed the other two. I was able to borrow one while walking and even with my hearing loss the earphones worked fine. Our kids were so excited Christmas morning...and their iPods...

Great sound, easy to use

luckily, I read the reviews and purchased each teenager the cover...I'm so glad I did. I didn't like paying extra for it though
