an economical media powerhouse

if you want a full-on media powerhouse, invest in diamonds larger system. if you want to watch avi's, etc. then this bad boy is well worth the money. make sure you read what formats it handles.

i didnt realise how small this system is until it arrived. the bundle of wires that go with it are larger than the device (3/4 the size of a deck of cards, maybe). it's a fantastic device for it's price. we have had countless hours of entertainment...

not really cons for the price, but... i wish it read more formats; when you fast-forward or rewind then play, sometimes it gets a hiccup or locks up (only a couple of times); the remote could have been laid out a little better (the most used buttons...

Works as advertised...

When I plugged the YUV/RGB (Component) the screen was red. Adjusted the 'Setting> TV System > NTSC Interlaced' to resolve the issue. If your screen blanks out testing other settings JUST PRESS THE 'RESET' ON THE REMOTE. This would make a nice...

Inexpensive, very small (2.5" x 2.5"), portable, works with almost any TV. RCA Video (Composite) & YUV/RGB (Component). Can use USB Flash, SD card, external HDD. Plays Divx, Xvid, MOV, MPG, Photo slide show, MP3, etc. Plays videos 1x, 2x, 3x and 4x...

Wish the remote would light up but that's asking to much for the price. Could not get any of my MP4 to work (All 720 & 1080 movies)

Great little box for slideshows! Not so much for videos.

The Asus O!Play Mini is a more upscale option (has HDMI output) and still has a great price. The only drawback with the Diamond is the inability (so far) to play videos rendered on Vegas HD Platinum. The documentation is rather poor. If anyone can...

Extremely compact and rather versatile. Plenty of control options for slide show (fade between slides, wipes, etc.). Easy to set up. Very good video quality

So far I haven't been able to play any proprietary videos. Rendered some projects as MPG, MP4, AVI and I still haven't nailed the render settings required for the supported formats (doesn't support WMV). This is a major disappointment. The manual is...
