Goodmans GPDR40

About the same size as a pocket radio of yesteryear,the GPDR40 manages to cram in a generous 40GB of storage capacity and a 3.6in 4:3 TFT LCD screen.

The underlying concept may be an excellent one,but the GPDR40 tries to do too many things for too little money and it shows. Hopefully,many of these issues can be addressed via a firmware 'fix'

Budget PMP's can your really expect a low priced device to be a jack of all trades, after all the big boys like Archos and iRiver are still struggling to find the right formula, so can Goodmans?

Goodman's GPDR40

I bought this hoping that I would be able to copy all my daughter's videos and dvds so that we could take them on holiday and keep her occupied on days when we are travelling or hanging around. However, I am disappointed that I cannot copy bought DVDs...

excellant purchase

i bought 1 of these for myself and found it to be of excellant quality. the 40gb hard drive is plenty and the sound and picyure is of very good quality. at 150 pounds its cheaper than the others on here so bought some for my family as well.
