You can hack this device

I was able to play my own movies on this thing after replacing its firmware

Existing firmware is terrible. Open source UI for this device took a lot of patience

Love this device

I love this player. I tried to get one for my wife, but all we could get is the Fuze+, and that was IMHO a downgrade. The interface for the Fuze is so user friendly and obvious

It's size compared with those crAPPLE products. Not that the size is bad, but all everyone talks about is the ipod, iphone, etc. Therefore, you won't find a lot of accessories in the store for it (as in holders). I'm worried that the device is going to...

love it!

I got it refurb at $35 which was obviously a great deal, but this is really worth the $70-80 it is brand new. I wish sansa would go back to making these again.

fantastic product. I have no clue why sansa decided to stop making them this way and started making the comparatively horrible fuze

Be careful of recertified products

Contacted the Manufacture and was told the do not warrant re certified products.

Good price when I bought it

It died after less than two months of use. Ordered on or about 9/19 stooped working around 11/20. It will not see the USB cable

Rockboxes like a pro

Price went down after purchace, doesn't bother me because it was well worth every penny.

I've never had to go out of my way to charge this device. I normally plug it in once a week to add music and hold the charge it gets for the rest of the week, use it about 2 or 3 hours a day. Using Banshee in Ubuntu to manage my library, handle sync...

Forcing me to upgrade my car audio equipment to use this device to its full potential. sounds like junk with FM transmitter ( but then again, everything does)

SanDisk Sansa Fuze 1.9" Black 4GB MP3 / MP4 Player

It has actual buttons and a multifunction wheel which means it can be operated easily from within a pocket or any other time when you can't look at it ; The micro SD slot is a plus and it integrated media very well ; The screen image quality is good ;...

uses a proprietary USB cable (this is the biggest con in my book) ; It's fairly basic and has a small screen (not really a con considering the price) ; It supposedly requires the Sandisk Media Converter to add media properly. I've noticed folders...
