Review: I-Dog

Posted by Helper MonkeyIt is well known amongst my friends and family that I am a complete and total geek, as well as a Mac lover to boot. When occasions like birthdays and Christmases come around, invariably someone tries to surprise me with the ...

Well, despite the fact I consider the faults I found with I-Dog to be rather huge, I can definitely see how he would appeal to certain segments of the iPod community. Specifically, those under 12 who do not consider audio quality to be of primary...

Behold the i-Dog -- undeniable proof that the whole iPod thing has officially gone too far.

Cute accessory ; Has distinct moods depending on how much music you're \"feeding\" it ; Works with any player with a 3.5mm headphone jack

Tinny sound ; Novelty value may not last for some

With only so-so sound but with interesting "mood" features, the i-Dog definitely falls under the classification "toy" rather than full-fledged music player accessory. One for the kids or those with serious iPod fetishes.

Horrible product. When you play music on it, the 'dancing' is so loud that you can't even hear the song.

It looks good

Loud dancing

My kid had to have the i-Dog Dance after getting a small replica from a Burger King kid's meal.

He loves plugging it into everything and anything with a 3.5 output jack

It stopped moving after a month no matter what we try to make it "happy". Sounds horrible - worse than the little transistor radio I had when I was his age! You'd think the Digital Age could do better

Cute and fun but could be better.

It can play music from your iPod or anything with a headphone jack, cute and colorful

The batteries run out fast, volume isn't that loud, sound quality isn't the best, can't be plugged into a wall, doesn't charge iPod

This dog is so cute and fun to play with. I love it

Its like taking care of a dog. You have to feed and play with him or he will get sick

When he runs low on batteries he goes wild

I like it a lot it's fun and instead of sitting around w/ headphones in my ears i can plug up my Idog.

It's so much more fun than sitting around listening to the radio where there are evil comercials ( I HATE RADIO COMMERCIALS!)

if you have it in a bag or something it can turn on with out realizing it therefore wasting battery

Cute dog. Kinda fun

Entertaining for a while

Uses too many batteries and will become a paper weight after the newness wares off
